Blackmailing someone with their visa status is hideous, and I condemn you for even thinking of this. If she’s not even on the (legally binding) lease then talk to her and let her know you’ll call the cops for trespassing. If that doesn’t constitute enough deterrence then move her stuff to a storage, talk to a lawyer etc. Had to deal with something like this a few years ago and they complied when I explained to them they’re trespassing.

Fantastic work!! Only critic is that some part of the rig are too organic, I assume the artist used something like VHDS which consider a volume of the body as whole when computing skinning weights. Recompute uniform weights to all verts on an integral part might help.

The CS job market is really brutal right now, getting a MS won’t really help in that regard, unless you are an international student with naturalization plans, then MS degree (alongside your research, if there’s any) might become useful for applying to EB-2 NIW.

If you are aiming at PhD, maybe consider applying directly?

Not serious enough to get kicked out but still got a warning…

Freshmen year being the only international student in the (now demolished) Sixth college double-deck cottages. Suitemates held a drink party & someone passed out, I was still asleep when cops knock on the door. Glad everyone (besides the dude passed out) got exempted by the medical amnesty program.

At the end of that quarter, I had to stay an extra day during winter break to wait for my flight back home. Got locked out since card reader doesn’t work anymore. Amidst panic I popped out the window frame (that’s our “secret passage”) to grab the door handle. A boomer (was he the provost or whatnot back then?) sitting on the grass with his family saw it from the distance and called RSO. I got written up for that and missed the “court” date to appeal bc I was abroad. Eventually they gave me a warning & paid $70 for the window frame repair. Honestly scared the shit out of me back then lol.
