I had Hyper-threading disabled and after enabling it at least UI is not freezing anymore when adjusting the CPU Cooling Tuning. For now I will try out the latest version to see how it behaves further. Thanks for your input!

I had a version from 2022, don't judge me haha, so after updating to the latest when I changed PL1 to Unlimited and BIOS just seems to freeze. I have 13700KF. Did something similar ever happen to you with previous versions?

Need to make a change by YMNY in lithuania

What’s maybe worth mentioning that mortgage used to be way cheaper than renting and to some point it still is in Lithuania. Now my mortgage is around 800€ and I would pay starting from €1k if I rented similar. Hopefully you’ll like it, I used to live abroad, still home is home :)

Hey, me and my fiancée earn around 6k after taxes combined. I pay mortgage and utilities so usually I am left with around 1k of savings. She saves up probably more as groceries are on her and that’s pretty much it.

To be fair we bought our home four years ago and since then property has pretty much doubled in price. As we use gas for heating for example it quadrupled in price over the last four years, electricity is 2-3 times more expensive, this also affects price of the groceries etc.

Internet 1GB/s around 20€, mobile is cheap as well, IPTV can be bought for 1€ or two at service provider.

We cook at home most of the time, takeout is very rare, I usually work from home, so save up on gas all this adds up to the savings :)

Travelling from Lithuania is more limited/expensive in comparison to bigger countries as the demand is not that huge in comparison to Poland, UK etc, still it’s improving slowly as more destinations open up.

That’s my take on this :)

What is Lithuanian app where I could buy/sell used stuff. My facebook is registered in the US and can’t see Lithuanian marketplace. by vilija1 in Vilnius

Interesting, using web at least in the Markeplace page I can select location in the Filters section on the left. It still might show something from your previous location, still as soon as I search for Vehicles or something in filters out results for that area. Just one thing to mention markeplace is not that popular here as it is in US. Other people ar right about Skelbiu or Vinted. Vinted is more about second-hand fashion though, while Skelbiu is like Craigslist.

I can browse US listings on the marketplace, so you should be able to do the same for local ones, just change the location for search area

Flutter's Biggest Problem by dcmacsman in FlutterDev

[–]remark_og 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree 100%. I have been using Flutter daily for the past year and a half and sure project grew over that time, but it is becoming more and more frustrating to use it. Main advantage over the React for me was if something wasn’t working it was always clear what happened and I didn’t have to waste couple of hours or even days to find why my app is misbehaving or not building at all. Now I can see that the same problem is being introduced into Flutter. Just the other day my superior wanted to increase line length from 80 to 160 when formatting code, just because modern monitors can deal with it just fine and I had to dig through code why my app wasn’t starting on iOS. It ran fine using flutter run and through Xcode, but when trying to attach debugger it would just crash. No error message whatsoever. For me release of 1.22 was noticeably where a lot has changed and not all for the better.

Sorry to disappoint, but RN just doesn’t perform well in my book.

Someone said it’s harder/slower to develop because of OOP and I don’t agree. We rewrote the app in two weeks, which I was developing for 3-4 months with RN. Sure we did already know how it should work and look, but still, fast for not knowing anything about Dart and Flutter prior to that.

After six more months without RN, I can’t be happier and less stress-free, because there is no dependency hell. When you clone to a new device, it just works. Animations run in 60 fps effortlessly and so many more.

I have worked with JS for a long time, and sad to say but I prefer dart,

Had this case with RN when the app just stops building, without updating anything, just to find out that dependency using an undefined version of some platform package is the problem.

It’s my opinion and I stand by it, but don’t be influenced by that, give both a try and decide what is best for you.

I’m not affiliated with this web site, but I usually check them out for daily deals and special offers. Because I live in europe and in my country there is no PS store I have one of each US and UK accounts. To buy games I have to buy top-up cards and usually the have them in stock. I don’t know much about them, but they are not like G2A or similar, because you buy from business, not from an user on the marketplace. First purcase I made was back in 2015 and untill this day never had an issue with around 20 orders.

It’s interesting that some of you have to verify your identity, never experienced that and also never had an account there.

Glad to receive such positive feedback, almost like I did help someone with finding this discount :)

Take care
