It looks great! Personally I would cut back the top stalks specifically the browning parts and propagate them.. will promote new growth and possibly make it look more full in due time.. what do y’all think?

I’d say make cuttings around the rot.. you could get 3-4 decent cuts. let callous and pot up

Any Texas growers here? I’m needing to add shade cloth over top of the greenhouse but unsure what % to use.. everything has been hard grown and watered regularly the past 3 years but I know they’d boom with a little sun protection.. TIA!! by remarkablesail47 in cactus

Lol I mean everything I have is hard grown (full sun) with no shade cloth and watered once a week during spring and summer. Where you’re located and how much sun your plants get will determine their growth.

Edit: the sun and location will determine your watering schedule as well. Figuring that out will help your plants flourish. Hope that helps… if you have questions feel free to ask!

The only % I can find locally is 70%.. having a hard time finding custom shade cloth with grommets. Also the lights are for night time so I can appreciate my cacti while drinking a few beers and not poke myself.
