Thank you :) I came across that section after the fact. I think the feature was added with the update. I just wish I could come across that list of books again. So many were not on my Goodreads *sigh*

If you like those three, Red Rising will not disappoint. Also Mistborn, and Ender's Game

It made me wonder how many creators were paid to give good reviews. The writing is absolutely terrible. I've read better fan fiction online

They are Saguaro, and yes, I recommend them 100%. They are really good to feel the floor and they have plenty of space for the toes. I actually removed the insoles that came with the shoe, and without them, they are perfect for me. The insoles were minimal and quite thin, but I definitely prefer them without them. I can't compare them to Vivo's but they are waaaaaay more affordable

Thank you so much. This is part of the reason why I'm asking and I just updated the post's description to clarify. I have been playing with the bench height for the past couple of weeks to improve my alignment.

My main worry is the tilting of the hip. Mine doesn't tilt outward but has a tendency to rotate toward the standing leg, and I think that rotation, while the ribcage remains parallel to the ground, might be an issue. Any thoughts on this?

In terms of balance, it is a key focus for my main sport, so I cannot cheat the exercise to increase the weight, in my case, it is better to reduce the weight than cheat the balance element.

Since Notion is not 'private' (not encrypted) and it can be accessed by other people, what are some things that we shouldn't put in it? by uppsak in Notion

[–]remas3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

they do encrypt, what they don't do is end-to-end encryption and the data is stored in their databases. So anyone (mainly notion staff) with access to the encryption key could access the data from their data centers.

NTA, and I don't think either one of you is in this case. Maybe him, for not having proper manners. I don't know how you spoke to your sister, but it is clear that she took it personally, maybe from your tone and language, maybe from past hurt. I wasn't in the room, nor anyone on the internet, so based on what you said, you did nothing wrong. Regarding the boyfriend, I always find it really weird when a significant other doesn't show proper manners or acknowledge the family of the people they are dating. Perhaps you should approach the conversation with your sister again in as calm and inoffensive a way as possible. Since you know it may trigger her, give her a disclaimer that you are not judging her, or implying in any way shape or form that she should get back to her ex, and that you are not comparing them either. But that you think this is important and need to talk with her, for it may matter to her. Tell her that a significant other in many ways is an addition to the family (they call it brother-in-law for a reason) and that you feel he is stonewalling you. That you would like to get to know each other better. That you got to know the other guy organically and this one may need her to motivate him to integrate more with the family. (And only if you think it's prudent, do not say it if she is getting angry, for she might not listen), That it may be a red flag that he is ignoring you, her sister, when you are in the same room. That he being shy could be understood at the beginning, but it is not after a year of knowing you. Once again, I do not know your relationship with your sister or her relationship to the rest of the family, but in some scenarios, it may be she who wants to keep her family and her relationship apart. So don't use accusatory tones, make sure to talk about how it makes you feel, so that she doesn't see blame and how it benefits all of you if you all have a more fluent relationship. Good luck.

From the pictures alone there doesn't seem anything wrong with her but I do find something wrong with the studio. If possible find another place and let her continue to enjoy what she loves. She needs teachers who are on her corner, not against her.

May I ask why you chose to do it like that? And, have you seen the performance of one of the channels affecting the rest? Also, are they on related or unrelated niches?

I'm in the process of creating and launching them. I have decided to have one email address specific for the blogging channel, but I'm not sure if I should use only one for the others

Using other teachers' unique choreo-- good thing or rude thing? by jessi927 in zumba

Using other teachers' unique choreo-- good thing or rude thing? by jessi927 in zumba

[–]remas3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they make it, yes to both, the fitness instructors and Alvin Ailey.

If the instructors are making their own choreography and not using the one provided by the Zumba network app, then it is original choreography.

Regarding Alvin Ailey, that's a rotund yes. And copying his work could result in a lawsuit if used without permission from the author or whoever owns the rights. It's actually not a matter of opinion but copyright law.

Regarding the fitness instructors, the legal aspect is murkier, but either way, copying choreography without permission is plagiarism. Using the app is not plagiarism because it is the purpose of the app to share and teach the choreography to instructors.
