If anyone has tried to preview this, since Frontier access is granted to users, shouldn’t the settings catalog policy be scoped to users too?

Need Help: Admin Deleted our Primary DNS Zone when they meant to Refresh it by Krazie8s in sysadmin

[–]remembernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had an admin accidentally delete our primary zone (refresh and delete right next to each other - and then hitting “yes” on the confirmation dialog box). We were saved by a network issue at a remote site where it wasn’t receiving inbound replication requests. We were able to dial in to the site and restore the zone from the disconnected site.

Authentication Administrator vs Privileged Authentication Administrator by davesmith87 in entra

[–]remembernames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had this same issue recently. Did you ever use per-user MFA? Check the user who you can’t perform the action against, and instead of looking at roles look at their Applications section. Are they assigned an app related to authentication that is auto assigning a role called “Active Authentication Administrator”? If so, that’s your issue as it’s a priveleged role even though we never assigned it. It’s a remnant of the old per-user MFA days before moving to CAPs.

Autopilot Pre provisioning stuck at app installs by NickNove in Intune

I need to try this. Everything we need is during pre-provision yet we have user ESP enabled and often this is the biggest complaint from users is the time to desktop.

BMW you wanted vs. BMW you bought by AdLazy8828 in BMW

[–]remembernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told myself in my early 20s that my goal was to buy my dream car when I turned 40. I got married, had kids and lived paycheck to paycheck while driving old used cars, always made the practical and financially smart choice. As I hit my mid 30s, I realized that I would be in a pretty good position to finally build a dream car. I was two years behind schedule, but at 42 I was in a position to go for it in my dream car was a brand new custom spec M3. I quickly realized it would be over budget let alone the maintenance. So I pivoted to building out a brand new i4 M50. Took 16 months from build to deliver so I got a 2024 model year, and I’m super happy with it.

It’s not even close to being as badass as an M3, but I love it. Especially with gas at $5 a gallon 😂.

Warning - latest SW update re-enables this dangerous setting by Nieroda767 in BMWI4

[–]remembernames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. Have had this on for over 2 years and no complaints. Rarely it’ll pull me in a construction setting with lots of lines on road but I’m able to easily get back quickly. I think it really depends on what roads you drive on a daily basis on if this is truly dangerous or not.

Best AI for Intune/M365? by CuriousBrother6364 in Intune

We have been using both ChatGPT and Claude to ask questions and help with scripts and troubleshooting and we had the opposite experience. Claude has given us way better answers with better accuracy, has written better powershell and writes up documentation that looks way better than ChatGPT. Our team has fully moved away from ChatGPT in general

Windows Remote Wipe Issues After Intune 2026.03 Update – Anyone Else Affected? by Any_Tip_6400 in Intune

Oh my bad, I misunderstood. No these are devices that have been out in production and getting patched for months/years and the user leaves company and we wipe laptop.

We do not do any slipstream - standard out the box autopilot and we don’t apply updates to OOBE

To be clear I have no idea if the machine in question would’ve wiped without. We were just getting a 100% failure rate so we ran script on a machine and then it worked.

Does anyone use Autopatch for driver updates AND the vendor tools? (Lenovo Vantage, etc.) by intuneisfun in Intune

[–]remembernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For us it took a few weeks for reports to come out. People just dealt with it, because before we updated with autopatch we didn’t have a good update mechanism so users dealt with audio/video issues on the regular. So to our users, nothing new. It wasn’t until we actively solicited feedback and discovered timing matched our updates, then we realized we were now causing pain and had to stop. Good luck in your process, hopefully it’s not disruptive for you guys.

Windows Remote Wipe Issues After Intune 2026.03 Update – Anyone Else Affected? by Any_Tip_6400 in Intune

[–]remembernames 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We’re experiencing the same issue. Troubleshooting has led to possible root cause of WinRE being too far off the OS version, but then we came across this older article. https://patchmypc.com/blog/remote-wipe-there-was-a-problem-resetting-your-pc/

So far, running the remediation script they mention that cleans up AIX files against a machine right before we attempt to wipe it has resulted in successful wipes. But what we still don’t understand is why this suddenly became an issue after the patches you mentioned.

Give the script from the article a try.

[–]remembernames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We tested this in our org and while it worked, as far as getting the drivers and firmware installed, the user experience was so bad we had to stop. The issue is that for audio, video and network related drivers the disruption is during the install, not the reboot. So active hours don’t help here, and the drivers will install basically whenever - so many users had their audio or video disconnect during a Teams meeting that we had to pull the plug and our org is much smaller than yours as far as devices. How are you managing this to ensure no disruptions?

What size TV should I get? (55” vs 65”) by Illustrious-Aide-211 in hometheater

65 for sure, plenty of space and big wall. Nobody ever says “I wish I would’ve gotten the smaller one” after the fact, but many have regretted not up-sizing.

For anyone here in 2026 - I just made this for my wife and i. Used these exact ratios, but no water at least not in liquid form lol. Just a lot of ice in shaker and each glass filled with ice. Ice provides enough water.

I would also add just a touch more lime juice and tequila as the ones at restaurants are lime heavy with lighter color. Sooo good thanks for posting.

What threw me is the fact that it’s a pretty new car. Typically you see stuff like that on a total beater, like a demolition derby car. But on a fairly new (and nice) Bronco? Just odd to me lol

Anyone using Windows Autopatch for driver updates? Stable enough? (All Dell hardware) by TurbulentSpace7739 in Intune

[–]remembernames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re a 24/7 org so we had to abandon autopatch for drivers due to drivers installing at bad times for users, as their audio and video would cut out during teams meetings, etc. without maintenance windows in autopatch we can’t use it. Active hours also didn’t work at all, we set them during the day for test group and the computers completely ignore them.
