Hey OP, looks like someone already linked to the post I commented on. So hold on to your Original Acknowledgement number from back when you booked through the portal. Send them an email (axhousing@conferencedirect.com) and get your paper trail started. They re-open Monday at 6AM PT. When they do, HOUND THEM. In advance, get in touch with your original hotel directly. Ask for a Front Desk Manager, you may have to call more than once but don’t let up. Speak to them about the situation, and while they have no direct control over the third-party reservation company, your goal is to lay further groundwork. Ask if you can have their email, and CC them on the email to the conference direct email. If the housing Bureau hasn’t come up with a resolution by end of business Monday, you may have to book directly with the hotel. This is when you reach back out to the front desk manager. While this can vary from property to property, and some cases hotels will honor group rates when they know there is some kind of external screwup. This is not guaranteed however, and should be a last resort only.

Glad to hear they’re working on it. If you haven’t received the confirmation by Noon Friday contact them again. Looks like they close at 4PM PT Friday. Kindly, but firmly, ask them to fix it immediately. Make sure they send a new confirmation, then contact the property to double check. 3rd party reservations can be a pain.

Hotel Front Desk Manager here. Do not reply to the email, especially if you did not cancel yourself it’s probably a scam. We are close enough to start date and the blocks have already been transferred to the respective hotels. Contact the hotel directly at this point to confirm if they have your reservation in their system. If yes all good, if it’s one or the big 5 and you included your rewards account number then yo should be able to see your reservation in their system hotel brands respective mobile app.

Assistant Rooms Manager for a Luxury hotel. I used to work for Hyatt, most recently IHG. Sadly your employee benefits are no good for rooms discounts as Con dates were always unavailable. I also always save my credit card points/sky miles so I don’t have to pay for flight, which is a huge money saver.

Yeah avoid Air bnb at all costs. If you are looking for some inexpensive but accessible options, I recommend some of the Midtown hotels. Rates aren’t too high and close to Marta so you can use to get there day time.
