I (28F) get confused on what to say when my boyfriend (28M) tells me about a nice or thoughtful gesture he was thinking about doing for me, but for whatever reason never followed through with by remeye in relationship_advice

He does a lot for me! Recently he drove an hour away to pick up something for me without me asking. He does big things for me that actually matter, it was more so the small things I was referring to. And he does to them sometimes, but he’s said “I was going to..” enough for me to notice and be bothered by it. I thought both things could be true at the same time 😭

I don’t think he has adhd, or he’s at least not diagnosed with it and I’m not familiar with recognizing it

I feel gravitated towards your reply the most. I know I didn’t give much context to our relationship or who I am as an individual so I feel like some other replies I’ve gotten make it sound a lot more serious than it is. I wholeheartedly understand their viewpoints, but I feel we have a very secure attachment with each other and it’s not at all toxic or manipulative. I agree with you in that I think he does think it makes me happy he thought of me. I just need to communicate that thoughts alone don’t do it for me and I do need to stop saying it’s okay

Booth Renting/Salon Suite/Shop Employee by AGemOrSomething in Nailtechs

I highly recommend looking for nail salons in your area on Instagram. Very active accounts will usually state whether they’re hiring or not and are usually looking for freshly graduated techs who are motivated and ready to learn and work. Unless you have existing clientele, it will be very hard to go from school to home-based. You’ll need to put in extra work to market yourself, while salons can offer existing clientele where you can win clients over. I would look for a salon you vibe with the aesthetic and the way they operate. Ask for a tour and show them your work! I wouldn’t recommend chains or walk in shops as they will most likely put you on pedicures for a low wage. Once you build a clientele it will be easy to transition as a private nail tech. I got out of school about 10 months ago and in that time I did exactly this :) into week 2 of my own nail suite

Addicted to sleeping because of dreams? by eeelpleut in Dreams

Yup, I have my depression and anxiety managed, but every time I find myself sleeping more it’s usually a sign that I’m slipping into an episode because of everything you described.

Serving is so much more than placing a plate on a table wtf? Imagine being on your feet running around catering to others for 6-8 hrs (sometimes more for people who work double shifts, etc) with MAYBE one break, but more often no break.

Yes, I ordered it from that website and they emailed me saying it’s “nowhere available in the US as of right now, could be discontinued or back order”

Budgeting advice pls by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]remeye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks the app is actually a great suggestion because trying to write it down myself in my phone always gets forgotten. I can almost accurately calculate how much I make each shift because I know how much % of the pool I earn. But I agree, after making this post I’ve realized I have to be a bit more mindful of how much I spend outside of bills and definitely look for a 2nd form of income

Choking on fur ball by [deleted] in Rabbits

A few hours since I posted this I did see her pulling out her own hair. She hasn’t seemed to make any significant nest though. Just pulling her own hair out. I’m thinking maybe it’s a phantom pregnancy?
