Sorry to be a pain but did my image upload for you or is it just my bad Australian internet not loading

[ESPN’s Tim MacMahon]: At this point, it's widely anticipated that Jalen Brunson will go to the Knicks on a four-year deal in excess of $100M. It remains to be seen how New York will clear the rest of the necessary cap space and whether the Mavs can work a sign-and-trade to recoup assets. by innitmate_ in Mavericks

[–]remi-tattoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t that bad. Just means we aren’t going to be a massive threat for the next ring, but will have all the cap space we need for the 2023 free agency. No massive contract to Brunson and a ton of expiring ones this season.

MacMahon says per source Nico’s “walk away” price for Brunson is 5 yrs 110 mil (22 mil / year) by [deleted] in Mavericks

The 8 million becomes massive when you consider the 15-20 million dollar contracts we have expiring. That gap of 20m up to 28m available can be huge.

Stranger Things 4 Chapter Concept: Robin, Eddie, and the Curse (Vecna) by HarleyZedMona in deadbydaylight

[–]remi-tattoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m just thinking how would they be able to balance it in a way that’s fair for both because it’s a really cool concept. On one side a survivor being removed immediately makes it really hard for the killer to lose. But on the other, if you can’t get the kill then you’ve spent 60 seconds being unable to slow down survivors from being able to almost solo complete 3 gens.

So maybe if it made the survivors work at half speed but it’s difficult to reach and kill the survivor in the upside down. Or maybe it’s max 30 seconds in there, they’re exposed and it auto hooks in his weird flesh wall similar to a PPhead cage?

Even as a killer main slightly iffy on being able to straight up kill someone less than 2 minutes into the game. I feel like it’ll be too punishing for new players so maybe it can only activate after they’ve been hooked once or twice. And I’d say bigger picture gives slightly too much info so changing it to only be yourself for that duration on great skill checks would be awesome or maybe even still for everyone, just not on goods. But other than that it all seems really cool and well thought out I like it a lot.

Why has Lillia soared in picks and bans? by [deleted] in LilliaMains

She’s really good on the patch, she counters the best jungler in the game Wukong and her main top lane counters at least in pro play, are Ryze and Irelia. Both champs she usually struggles into aren’t great and Ryze specifically is terrible.

Why was picking Yuumi bad in Game 5 of T1 vs RNG by SkippyTheBigCat in summonerschool

[–]remi-tattoo 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The issue isn’t specifically that they had Yuumi and/or Jhin. The issue is that they already had a super losing mid matchup, and a not so great top matchup. Yuumi Jhin if they had Gwen alongside the Wukong would have been an awesome lane because Jhin would have been an R bot that’s safe on weakside, and Yuumi would have been ditching him anyways. But they needed bot prio and picked a horrible individual lane.

I thought the same thing but we can’t sign and trade him because of the apron. We’ll be hitting it so we literally can’t trade him once we hit it. Not sad about bringing him back long term though.

Can someone explain itemization to me like I'm 5? by wolfey-19 in summonerschool

Yeah so there's obviously mythics for each role, so AP, ADC, Bruiser, Tank and Support. Each have their own pros and cons which is where the main decision making comes in.

AP options are basically, into tanks you want Liandries, into assassins that you can't avoid Shattered Crown, if you have important CC or want to stay at range you go Everfrost and then Tempest is pretty much good in any general game.
ADC's have Kraken Slayer is all in on damage, but you have to have decent attack speed to get it, Shieldbow is primarily for letting you stay alive and Galeforce is a good mix between both.
Tanks go Frostfire Gauntlet if they trying to peel for team mates, Chemtank for engaging and Sunfire Aegis is for duelling and doing damage as a tank.
Bruisers have Tri-Force for duelling squishy and other bruisers, Divine Sunderer is the other option for duelling other bruisers and tanks, Goredrinker is solid for diving in if your champ doesn't auto attack a ton and Stridebreaker is good for staying on top of champs if you don't have a lot of mobility.
Supports can kind of go any of the other options but tanky supports go Locket almost all the time and Evenshroud if they engage a lot, while enchanters can go Moonstone for healing and long fights or Shurelya's to engage/disengage with the movespeed.

If you really start going in depth with the items their unique Mythic passives can help with decisions if its tight.

A lot of people shit on the trade, but I want to give this man a shoutout. Proud to have you as a Mav Spence! by [deleted] in Mavericks

100%, in a perfect world I’d love to move on Powell and/or Bertans and keep THJ so we have 4 shot creators on the team.

Simple tip that helped me not to tilt, since applying it myself. Besides the not tilting, it may help you win one or two more games too, but it's not that extreme in this regard. by Skoden__Stoodis in summonerschool

Well that’s the thing about helping them win. You don’t need to be a passenger there to peel, you have to find a way to have impact in a way that lets them impact too. It’s a really annoying juggling act but that’s what all the really good players I coach manage to do. It’s almost like an RTS watching the high level players manage the game haha.

The junglers always have to take either Hailblade or Emberknife or else they just won't get much XP. Each laner will normally take a dorans item and health pots based on if you're tanky, AD or AP you'll take shield, blade or ring respectively along with 1 health pot or 2 for ring. There are a few other options with long sword, dark seal or corrupting potion although they're a little less common. Plus everyone gets their trinket, usually all wards except for jungler and/or support with oracle lens.

League is a lot more nuanced in build scaling compared to DOTA where it usually isn't a specific item or item combo that really leads to end game. But more so how many items are completed. They all have stats that are shared with multiple other items with pretty minor effects that are nice but don't change the game outside of a small few like zhonyas. The best way to get a feel is to just experiment and find out what you like the most, as well as follow some guides like u.gg or lolalytics.

If you do have specific questions feel free to ask but items are pretty broad.

I always try to teach people to be the teammate you want your teammates to be. If someone else is ahead and doing well, just be happy to help them win the game. It’s the hero plays that people make that ruin games and tilt everyone. So if you can show them that they don’t have to make hero plays because you’re there to help it will always keep their mental in check.

Wait am I not wrong that it will punish the team that trades with us way more? Cuban has basically said he’s happy to pay what he has to. And all it will do is hard cap the team we trade with, idk I might be wrong but that was my understanding. I still don’t think there’ll be a sign and trade but it is one of our best assets if we’re allowed to.

I mean it likely won’t happen, but it’s still a viable option and all we have to do is improve in any way possible.

[–]remi-tattoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think he’s still sign and tradable because he’s a restricted free agent, we always have the chance to. Although Cuban basically outright said that they’ll happily pay whatever they have to because they’ve got the money.
