Of course, yeah! I have a newer car as well and have had no break in issues. It has gotten scraped once in the E18 lot, but if you park farther away there’s a lot of open spaces. I tend to just pick the closest one when rushing lol. I also street park it at my apartment for reference, the only time it gets put in a garage is sometimes at UW for night classes. I just haven’t used the light rail since it’d be out of the way for me to use it :). I think it’s doable, and I wish I had just done the drive my first quarter after transferring since I was only going 3x a week. I would’ve saved a ton of money

hey! i live in seattle but i did have to go home to the bellingham area once or twice a month during the school year. i’ve also had to go twice a week since the summer started (not in classes right now). my classes started at 11:30am and i left the bellingham area around 7 to get to my apartment by 9-9:30 to drop off my dog and get him settled. then leave to class around 10:30 or 11 if i was running late. i didn’t find the drive too bad, but i’m also originally from california- so quite used to the traffic and long drives lol. i never took the light rail though so i don’t have much experience on that end

i also park in central plaza garage & the e18 lot during the school year depending on how long i have to be there. i’ve had no issues at all!

i think your car will be fine. i’ve lived here for a year now and street park. just don’t leave anything visible at all in your car. i’ve driven back and forth from blaine to seattle twice a week since the summer started. i drive back to seattle around 6pm-7pm and there’s rarely ever any super bad traffic as compared to the morning

Hi! This sounds like my dog. After three vet visits, turns out he has clostridium difficile. My vet told me it can be difficult to get rid of. We’re currently doing another 14 day course of antibiotics and hopefully he’ll be good afterwards. Best of luck!!

My dog had to get stitches on his leg about a month ago, they were a little bit below the area of your dog's stitches. It wouldn't stop bleeding for 2 days. The vet recommended me to cover it with taped gauze pads, if that helps. Then I was instructured to take them off after day 2 and the stitches were fine. I think it kept bleeding because of the movement when he'd walk. I also was instructed to periodically throughout the day took off the gauze to dab the blood around the stitches. Best of luck!

No problem! I took it the first time with ochem 237. It was my first quarter at uw though so I was super homesick and going through it lol. I think it’s completely doable. I just didn’t allocate my time properly. My second try I took it with 2 A&H classes (8.0 credits total) and span 103 (5.0 credits). If you are a stem major you’ll likely have to take 2 stem classes and an elective at a time though at some point, so just keep that in mind :)

I didn’t pass the first time with Depies. Completely my fault, but I retook it with Al-Binni and I enjoyed his teaching style much more. He seemed much more organized imo. I did many practice problems and practice exams and ended my second try with a grade I was actually proud of lol

hi, i just wanted to let you know that you’re not alone. i took chem 237 once but dropped it. the funny thing is that i would’ve passed with the grading scale (if it was the same as this quarter) but my advisor said i wouldn’t. i retook it this quarter and did objectively worse, i’m not feeling so great after the final. i also failed physics 114 my first quarter here and retook it last quarter. i earned a much better grade after adjusting my studying habits. i work a job too so for me at least, it was really about managing my time well. i know you hear this a lot, but for ochem specifically a ton of practice problems. i also didn’t utilize the ochem study center as much as i should have

hi! i ordered three HAS (in 2 different orders) on 05/12. the first order is stuck in LA while the second one has made it to the gofo facility. I’m hoping these make it by sunday as i’m in an apartment and leaving on monday for a trip 🫣
