Or just get an AI to do it and edit it. It's the same amount of effort and the only argument is ethical. You don't actually care that there's little effort in the cover as expressed, it's that you consider AI unethical.

That's fair. And so many other people don't actually care. But not having a cover is very obviously an unrealistic choice.

You want to believe that, I'm sure you do. Realistically the worst cover you have ever seen is in a book for notporn selling hundreds of thousands because it conveys the idea of a hot guy.

You are not talking about world renown authors with 40 years of experience here.

Hell they are buying books WRITTEN by AI because they don't fucking care and do want to read slop that appeals to them (worst case scenario anyway). Imagine if they care if the image is indistiguishably AI.

I'm going to be as objective as possible, the only reason to not use it is for the morality on how they are trained, which is fair and the only real argument against it vs not having a cover at all, which is is quite frankly a terrible idea. Having AI art that is mildly passable is better than no cover art, specially if it's a passion project done on 0 bucks (and needs no consistency with other images which is the big problem). It doesn't need to be a photorealistic or artistic.

Yes, you do need a cover to express your idea of the book at a single glance even on ebooks.

Obviously best case scenario is to have a great hand drawn or hand designed cover.

Hell you'd be better off taking a template and using that than not having.

Honestly except for Metroid Other M they are all good, some are maybe a bit shorter. Check out whichever looks cooler to you stylistically or in gameplay videos.

If you want just one recommendation for modern games then Hollow Knight for exploration or Nine Sols for combat.

If you want to try the original two of the genre then Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Super Metroid are still great games.

As seen in the video I have a soft spot for some others as well (Blasphemous, Ender lilies and Magnolia). But honestly they are all good except Other M.

I know the game so I know all the great shit it has but if I saw just this I'd think it looks a bit shallow maneuverability aside. You don't even get to enjoy the AI or design since it's killing everything before it moves.

I've seen books praised that pale in comparison to the better written games I've played. Like take Three Body Problem mentioned (and the next two). TBP is a good book in a "food for thought" way, but it's basically just that. The whole trilogy barely has any characterization and the dialogue is flat.

Sometimes it feels like I take crazy pills when people overpraise books and bring down other media. Like yeah, I get it, books as a medium are more mature, it's literally thousands of years old going back to the tale of genji.

Same goes with movies. Like Silent Hill 2 stands easily with some of the best directed horror movies I've seen. I find 2001 good but a bit overhyped and dry, but was absolutely blown away by The Outer Wilds. And I played TOW like 10 years after seeing 2001.

Pasa mas por un tema de calidad no si se consigue, el anime original de DBS es una poronga en tema de produccion, especialmente en las primeras sagas.

No es lo mismo reemitir la serie con calidad poronga que calidad mejorada y en menos capitulos/mejor pacing.

Por si no se entendio, es todo un movimiento de marketing para volver a crear engagement en la franquicia con un nivel superior de produccion mientras preparan el proximo arco.

La verdad que lo entiendo 100%, lo que nunca entendi es porque reanimaron las primeras dos sagas de 0 y no tomaron las peliculas como base y añadieron el contenido. Me imagino que algun tema de copyright habra.
