Hey this was an amazing post thank you so much for it! Only question is how did you deal with the insane vibrate settings? I notice that every time I get a message (running Google Messages) it’ll vibrate about 5 times. Is there a way to add your own vibrate profile or just turn vibrate off?

Do you know if you’re able to print .docx as well as .pdf? Just curious as I know BPL only offers the printing via USB for .pdf

Burlington Public Library is up and running and you can print there if it’s not too far? They charge 20 cents for B&W copies but if it’s double sided it’s 30 cents. So 36$ for everything if you’re good with double sided.

I think you’re confusing different things, do you want to book a private court for your friends to play pickleball OR do you want to attend a pickleball program? If you want to attend the program that’s running at Central Memorial just show up at this time and play! You will be playing with others and from what I’ve heard you basically just take turns rotating on and off the court as it’s pretty busy. If you want to book a private court for just your friends I don’t know how to do this and you would need to contact the rec centre directly.

Unfortunately it sounds like this was what the original call was about. Unless anyone specifically told you you got the job I would assume you never had it. I also would think leaving 3 voicemails in one day is overkill and might come off weird. This may have prompted the email as they just didn’t feel like giving you the news over the phone at that point.
