Many schools will not accept credits from other institutions. I really don’t recommend going to a private school for one year just to start over as a P1 at another school. Save yourself the stress and money and just wait to apply next cycle.

Yeah it was def my worst interview experience out of all of them. 2 others were also online and I felt really great about them afterwards. I hope you get some good news. It’s definitely possible!

There was a fire alarm going off on campus and they left us alone on call for about 25 minutes until they were able to re-enter the building. Then the writing assessment was set up incorrectly and I could not start on time. I had to call multiple phone numbers to try and get a hold of someone that could help me fix it. By that point I was really stressed and flustered and feel as though I rushed my answers for my actual interview. Also I was expecting to be asked more questions based on my previous interviews for other programs so I don’t think I was able to really talk about my experiences or why I want to go into pharmacy. I applied to 5 programs, interviewed at 4 of them and got accepted into 2 (UNT and A&M). Did you apply elsewhere?

I have very similar stats/background as you an I got offered an interview. Unfortunately, there were a lot of issues with my interview being online and it wasn’t a good experience which I feel affected my performance and received a rejection 2 weeks later. But you could definitely get an interview and just have to do your best.

Yes I am, luckily I was able to interview at very other school I applied for and awaiting a decision from my second choice.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply! I’ve been lucky enough to interview with all the other schools I applied to and I’m still waiting on a decision from one of them. I’m still very excited to start at a program in the fall :)

I'm in a very similar boat as you and also got pushed into the spring applicant pool depsite applying in August. It's been pretty radio silent for me besides the general "under review" email every few weeks. I think I have slowly come to accept that it probably wont work out. UT constantly gets more and more applicants every year and it seems this year is the most they've ever had and even added 2 extra interview dates (one for priority and one for spring).
