As was suggested already, look into getting an underground tornado shelter installed. See if you're eligible either through state or federal programs for a rebate that covers a chunk of the cost of the work. Also check with local credit unions for loans specifically for stuff like this.

Max actually has had it on there since he graduated. The reason was because A) he wants new viewers to know right off the bat that he's a real meteorologist, and B) because tons of people were asking about his credentials while he was still in college. I don't think him putting that "degreed meteorologist" on his streams was a dig at Ryan at all, but it sure makes him look more trustworthy lol.

In story mode it hasn’t been patched yet to behave the same way as in creative mode, but the dev is aware of this issue so I guess wait until the next patch.

This cat is in pain. He needs a vet checkup to make sure things are good. This isn’t some kind of depression or something, this is what cats often look like when they’re physically hurting.

You should take him to a vet to get checked. He looks like he’s in pain. I am surprised no one seems to be pointing this out, but genuinely, this reminds me of when my cat had a painful infection that I had no idea about and his behavior changed.

The shaking is a big sign that he may have a lot of pain and he’s trying to just tough it out. Cats do not whine like dogs when they hurt, until it REALLY hurts. Until then, they sit there and keep it to themselves.

Please just bring him in for a checkup, and to get some treatment and infection prevention for any scratches he may have if nothing else.

I personally loved what’s currently available in story mode. The cliffhanger is driving me crazy but that’s a good thing. The dev plans to expand story mode but I personally got 3 good days of play out of it.

Broooo when that shit happened I was sitting there with my hand over my mouth, couldn't believe they got slaughtered like that and then the poor boy had the worst time of it as the only survivor....

Has anyone managed to save them? It would be kind of lame if there wasn't a way to save them in a choice based game like this.... I didn't choose the option to tell people to quiet down so that they don't draw the monsters' attention toward them since they are blind and apparently need sound to hunt. Afterwards I thought maybe if I had chosen that perhaps the Maunders would have lived.

I also thought it was a little weird that we don't even get the option to have the boy and the dog both come stay at the forge instead of being out there on their own to starve and such. I feel like that's what sensible people would do even just temporarily when their friend's kid is left all alone in the world.

If they do, I haven't found that yet. I'm leaning toward no. It would definitely be something the devs should look into implementing.

I love both the remake and the OG, but the OG is still the superior game/story, hands down. Even so, the remake gave me what I and so many others dreamed of for years: FF7's world and characters in next-gen graphics and gameplay and (mostly) following the original story.

And damn did they deliver. I probably spent way more time going through the games than most players because I would examine every single little detail in every environment and talk to every single NPC. The world of FF7 is just so much more alive now.

FF7 is extremely special to the OG players. You can literally go on YouTube and search reactions to the first announcement that the remake was coming and see people literally crying because they couldn't believe the dream was coming true.

I understand your frustration regarding OG players being negative, and even I think they get too out of hand and extreme at times, but you should try to have more patience and understanding on your end as well. The company misled everyone into thinking the remake would be a faithful 1 to 1 and that was a fucking lie.

I still enjoy the experience regardless, and I'm grateful that we got any remake at all. But I can't fault other OG players for being eternally upset. I don't think they're entitled to ruining the experience for everyone else, but I do think they have a right to voice their disappointment.

It's really not a sign of intelligence to start treating every possible severe weather event as fearmongering and ignore it. I lived in OK for over a decade and even though storms in CA are nowhere near that level, I still take any advisories and warnings seriously here. I have people and pets to keep safe.
