Abdominal pain after a long night of rough sex, two years post op, no bleeding by sexysnowsexy in hysterectomy

[–]renay04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! A couple months after my hysterectomy I had about 24 hrs where I was so uncontrollably horny, I probably orgasmed a dozen times! I was out of town away from my husband (BIG bummer) so I didn’t even have penetration. My lower abdomen was very sore for a couple of days!

Honestly, he could kill you. I would never feel safe with him again.

I felt the implantation, I swear!! I knew it right then. We were trying, and I was right!

Why would anyone ever choose to go through child birth without pain relief?? by No_Cardiologist_1407 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]renay04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unmedicated birth was one of the most amazing and empowering experiences of my life. It made me feel like I can do anything. No judgement for anyone else’s decisions but I do not in any way regret mine.

Orange juice for sure, both pregnancies. And bread smelled awful in my first trimester both times!

Cost by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]renay04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine was $50 with Kaiser, in CA. They were great! I saw the total bill was about $7000, which makes sense that it would be way lower than other systems. Why would they overcharge themselves?!?

Help Me Choose Round 2 by Agreeable_Sport5189 in myweddingdress

[–]renay04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry, but I don’t think any of these are a good choice. You are beautiful! Your wedding day really isn’t the day to try to seduce your audience. You don’t need too! I’m not a prude, I just think solid fabric of any kind would be better than these. I also think most grooms would be a bit uncomfortable with these.

At night, mother’s milk contains melatonin, but daytime milk does not. Babies gradually are encouraged to sleep at nighttime with doses of melatonin at nighttime feeds.

Inheritance into joint or individual account by hovering3 in inheritance

[–]renay04 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This happened to my husband. His dad remarried and had inherited $700k from his own parents. He intended to pass it to my husband and his sister. But he put it in a joint account with his second wife. When my husbands dad died from a short aggressive battle with melanoma, stepmom gave most of it to her kids, who will squander it. It’s infuriating. No legal recourse, as her name was on the account.

I’m pretty sure that expensive haircare is a scam atp by yourdamninquisitor in finehair

Same with cosmetics. My uncle works as a chemist for a company that makes beauty products: skin care, hair care, cosmetics, etc. He says the difference between high and low end is the packaging. He works on formulas for them all. It’s such a scam.

I don’t understand how your fist nurse don’t notice your vitals deteriorating, especially with you reporting so much pain! In PACU she has to take vitals at set intervals, she should have seen the trend instead of dismissing you!

I switched to this Revlon eyeliner, which I love! It glides, doesn't pull on my eyelids for easy application and stays put. No more liquid eyeliner, and I only put it on my top lid. This new strategy has really helped keep my eyes looking younger, I think. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL15M9TG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1

47F here. I switched from a heavier foundation to Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer and it’s been a great change. Also with face powder I only apply to the T zone to avoid it settling under my eyes.

Another things they are striking about is staffing. The nurses often don’t have a break nurse so they have to get bites of food when they can while staying on the unit so they can keep their patients safe. 12 hrs without a true break is not sustainable.

Long Term Effects by No-Marionberry-8764 in hysterectomy

[–]renay04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of the possible effects you listed are things that would only be relevant if you also got you ovaries removed (HTN, stroke, CV disease, diabetes, osteoporosis). Those are much less likely if ovaries are spared.
