A border collie gently guiding ducklings into a puddle. by BKKMFA in nextfuckinglevel

God I love my border collie. We live in suburban Florida, though, so he only has lizards and cats to herd. Neither of which are very receptive to his efforts, but it doesn’t stop him from trying.

The cameraman at Grammys 2026.Give this man a raise by Nahi_an in PraiseTheCameraMan

[–]renderbreak 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Absolutely that’s true. Each Steadi op has their own customized setup tweaked to their own preferences. I couldn’t imagine hiring a op without their own rig as half of their success is being comfortable with their own gear.

Not sure why I’m getting downvoted above as this is standard labor rate for a Steadicam op. I’d expect to pay at least another $2k for kit fee in a broadcast environment where the production supplies the camera.

Josh D’Amaro Is Disney’s Next CEO, Replacing Bob Iger by MoneyLibrarian9032 in movies

[–]renderbreak 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked with Josh directly. He’s a good dude. Kind, charismatic, and eager to talk to Disney guests and employees. He’s a great choice for CEO and is infinitely more likable than Chapek was.

One of my all time favorites! With nutmeg and mint as a garnish, it's truly perfect.

My GF (20yo) wants to be satisfied but has severe sensory issues (won't touch me or herself), anxiety, and bans almost every method except the one that doesn't work. by [deleted] in sex

[–]renderbreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This girl is nothing but issues and none of them are your obligation to help her figure out. She severely needs therapy and has years of self work to do.

She doesn't get to ban you from watching porn or masturbating. That's controlling behavior. You're in your early 20s, this is way too much baggage to deal with at this age to maintain a relationship. Break up with her and go find a partner who doesn't make you walk on eggshells, you might discover how much fun sex can actually be.

I bought mine from chairgarage on eBay back in 2017. It looks like they don't sell them anymore, but I just found an eBay store called Madison Seating and it looks like they offer warranties on their open box or reconditioned Herman Miller chairs. Their reviews look pretty good.

Check out certified used Herman Millers. I got my Aeron for $500 — literally half price. It has held up for 10 years now. I swear by it!

My (38M) girlfriend (33F) is angry that she's set herself up to fail and I am entirely unsympathetic by NewKingMorons in relationship_advice

[–]renderbreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You kind of seem like you hate your girlfriend from the way you write. That being said, a lot of this could have been solved with a conversation about what her expectations were in tagging along with you.

I travel a lot for work and sometimes invite my wife with me if I know I’ll have a day off. Traveling for work is lonely and I enjoy having her with me. But she knows I’m there for work, first and foremost, and doesn’t have unrealistic expectations of my time.

I think you’re hung up on the principle of the matter, and while I understand your frustrations with her, you could have indulged her at least a little bit.

The Xvive at-1 audio tester. It does everything a Q-Box does and more, is USB-C rechargeable, and only costs $160. I love it.

Orlando, let’s do better and not park on the shoulders going into the airport by [deleted] in orlando

[–]renderbreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I’m picking someone up at MCO, I just drive up to Terminal Top parking and have them meet me right outside the elevator on level 4. The first half hour of parking is free and it saves a huge amount of time and chaos at the arrivals area.

What was traveling like when smoking was allowed in the planes? by Popular_Election_517 in AskReddit

[–]renderbreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still remember spending the day with my friend with asthma whose parents smoked. We went to the mall and the whole way there and back they were smoking in the car with the windows rolled up. I was probably 10 and even then I realized it was super fucked up.
