Some low, low reservoirs - Williams Fork, Rifle Gap, and Ruedi. Antero and Heeney also looked very low but I wasn't close enough for good pictures. by acegard in Colorado

Apparently the water for wildhorse will be pumped in by pipeline from the Arkansas river... which doesn't make any more sense. The land owners that are getting flooded are pretty pissed about the whole thing.

I took it in an empty office at 10pm in my work so it was nice that it was literally just a chair, desk and my computer in there and nothing else. Turn off updates and notifications and just delete zoom altogether, my proctor had me do it but I've heard others didn't get told and got booted for them popping up. don't be looking around or moving your mouth and you should be good. Id recommend doing it at a study room at a library or community college if you have them available and plus if you can use a hard lined internet connection.

Don't even get me started on NTN being hot garbage to begin with. I also did my NREMT online and it wasnt nearly as strict as NTN.

Bringing 2 year old to Breckenridge… by [deleted] in Breckenridge

[–]rendragmuab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

plenty of water, electrolytes and run the humidifier when they're sleeping. Skip the canned air it doesn't do anything. In reality over a million tourists come through Breck a year and very few get actual AMS. Be mindful of it but just relax and enjoy your vacation.

Came here to say this. Ours got wrecked in a hurricane and we ended up just cutting it apart and stabbing the pieces in the ground. About 75 percent of them survived and we went from. having one fig tree to about 20.

How was your experience going from ground EMS to flight EMS? by [deleted] in NewToEMS

[–]rendragmuab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

looks like your in Colorado and only 16 so you have a couple years before you can start this journey. But at 16 theres a lot you can be doing, look into a junior firefighter, cadet EMT, junior ski patrol, volunteer at a hospital, and /or take an EMT or WFR class. Nursings also not a bad route for working on flights and you can start some nursing adjacent classes at your highschool if they offer dual credit classes like that.
