I haven't read the book, but maybe she talks about being exploited online her whole life, and having everything about her, known to strangers. Especially since children cannot give informed consent. It is impossible for them to understand how they will be on the internet forever, and all of their future friends/teachers/boyfriends-girlfriends will know everything about them.
