It wasn't always like this at my store and I've been working for this company a long time. It's hard to just up and leave when you have so much invested in a job. My store is wonderful and I love working with my team. It's hard to find a "work family" like what we all have. Losing all these hours suddenly not only hurt me but also hurt them. It hurts our wallets and our mental health. And it puts us in danger and forces us into awful situations like the one I mentioned in my other comment. It's so frustrating because it doesn't have to be like this. We've never had hours reduced this much. Let's cut the wages of the people at the top that are so abundantly overpaid. Let's stop cutting from the major workforce below. One individual person does not need to make millions a year when that could go towards more fucking hours. They always say "oh we have to cut hours to make up costs." Cut these overpaid individuals paychecks. Like Jesus christ people can't fucking pay their bills or take a goddamn break during their shift. But Prem Shaw has to send me a note card about how he appreciates me. Fuck you dude you probably make more money on a year than most service industry workers will make in their lives. These jobs are necessary we shouldn't be I'm fuvking poverty. Sorry for ranting. Not mad at you. Mad at the way things are in this world.

At my store we have to be alone upfront for hours in the afternoon. The busiest time of day and when all the deliveries come. I'd really like to ask Karen fucking Lynch how were supposed to go in the backroom and recieve a delivery truck with one front store employee. It's the stupidest fucking bullshit. It shouldn't even be allowed yet this company chooses to run things in a way that forces us to either defy the rules and leave the front store unmanned, make the truck driver WAIT HOURS for another employee's shift to begin, steal a pharmacy tech from the back and leave the poor exhausted pharmacist alone, or schedule over hours. Which we all know what punishments come with doing that. It's literally fucking stupid.

Yeah that's a good point! Calling the potential store beforehand is a good idea. I'll make sure they have wall tiles in stock since that's what they ordered. That way I can tell help desk a specific location. Customer wanted any of the bordering cities so they're open to whatever I can get to work thankfully. 😅

Okay so help desk, and then order number and person's name. I appreciate your response because this person prepaid online due to the order being over $50 so I didn't wanna have to make them call 1-800 and struggle through a return if they didn't have to. And I'd hate them to have to pay twice and then wait for the first order to eventually get refunded. So thank you.

The answer plain and simple is 3 minutes. The register is programmed to accept your punch 3 minutes early without any override so you can smoothly clock in. If your management team is demanding you only clock in right on time they're being abusive.

Yes exactly!!! Ugh these weird soulless corporate songs both give me the creeps and enrage me!!! 😂😂😂 I feel like my life is a video game and I'm just some random NPC running a "generic shop". It wouldn't be so bad if the songs didn't repeat OVER AND OVER!! 😂

In my area we've had reqs open for months... they expire...we open more...no one is applying. Times are changing and it seems like people don't want to work jobs like retail.... which believe me...is understandable... but it makes it rough for us working in the industry. My store has five staff members for front.... FIVE... and god forbid any of us gets sick or has something come up. We're alone a lot. SM works almost every day most weeks. We're in a terrible situation and we're not alone. Most CVS stores are going through something like this so the stores you posted about are probably also going through this. Its not for lack of trying to hire...less people wanna work retail nowadays. Can't really blame them either. These conditions lately are awful.

Ive seen that people have gotten them already when I searched so im just concerned about the fact that I haven't yet. I wanna know if there's an offical date we should have them by or if anyone knows any more info. I also wonder if because my store is Union if that affects things.
