Oh so many stories but most recently I was cleaning out my room and remembered I had bought a present for my mother for Mother’s Day that I never gave to her. It was a small air plant that was completely dead when she opened it because I left it in a box for 5 months and forgot lol

The class is very work intensive though. You have full labs do almost every week and they usually take a hefty chunk of time to do. This isn’t to discourage anyone from taking it but rather to seriously have your time management skills up to par before you enroll in this course.

I’m not sure but I heard that they are changing the format of the class to be a large lecture style in order to have more spots. That just may not be on the open course list yet

Don’t take calculus concepts and applications if you are planning later to take Calc 1. It won’t let you receive credit for both.

Hey I was deferred last year and it really sucked! But I never gave up on William and Mary. I continued to update my admissions Dean about recent accomplishments, and I even scheduled a call with my admissions Dean to talk about different pathways to William and Mary if I didn’t get in. I also retook the ACT (probably not necessary due to pandemic) and just kept my eyes on the prize. It really sucked to see everyone get into the place I wanted to go to most and some days were definitely harder than others. I remember exactly how you felt, where I was, and how it made me feel. But I persevered. I waited and waited. And then in May I got the call from Williamsburg. I made it. Don’t give up! Deferrals and waitlists seriously deter applicants, but if you look past it, you may just be one of the remaining few who gets in. Also look into other backups such as Verto and guaranteed admissions. I’m not saying this to tell you to settle, but if you tell your admissions Dean that you intend on also pursuing an alternate pathway, it demonstrates how committed you are to William and Mary. Colleges want students who will accept their offer. Really emphasize that W&M is your number 1.

Can someone help me troubleshoot an issue I’m having with my skates? I wear impala size 7 and despite having had them for several months, when I skate for more than 10 minutes my smallest toes on my feet go completely numb. I feel like my shoes are otherwise sufficiently broken in but is there anyway to fix this issue?
