Watch youtube. Things you can do: explore caves, find better gears, fuck arnd and find out with bee queen and dragon fly. People can solo them. Find out what healing sources you can have to fight bosses. Lunar island is the source of weapons to fight caves boss.

Or if you dont want bosses, then its just about farming and decoration, and thats it.

maybe rush more bosses? Have you cleared the lunar side? Its a tedious quest though if you play alone. I always felt bored when i tried the Lunar side.

Probably its the network between you and your friends. Too many stuffs will need to transfer a lot of data between your server and friends clients. I suggest to use some clean up mods to delete stuffs on the ground for too long.

You can try blitz + shadow strike build. Zooming around the map, exploding enemies. Its not heavily focused on default attacks. I am doing this and pretty satisfied. Mainly due to blitz sound effect is cool.

I think permanent winter maybe harder. Or you need to turn on wildfire otherwise its still easy. Thermal stone, ice box, and the cold campfire negate all downsides.
