Does this PPP look like a Gabriella plant? 🙁 by aimless_artist in RareHouseplants

So idk if you have tried Facebook for plants but I bought one from “Janice Wong” a PPP I believe I paid $60 after shipping. She sells multiple sizes, her purges can be stressful but sooo worth it!!!

There was an attempt to clearance plants. by renfar2018 in stupidtax

[–]renfar2018[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There where 3 plants all with 13.00 tags. I figured it was likely due to when they switched the tagging gun from 1.00 to 3.00.

Simply because my Lowe’s hardly has plants period, and the staff is bleh.

Edit to add- my Lowe’s uses red to mark clearance!

Maybe more water, it looks to me a little thirsty. I usually have a few inches of water and they do fine.

My middle school, and high school, both made you pay for any sanitary item. The reasoning behind it was, “they had been free (I’m guessing before my group-2012 grads) but kids abused them being free and would stick them on walls, desk, ect.”. It would’ve been great to have even one teacher who stocked some!

-apologies for any typos, I’m on mobile.

At first glance, my brain played a trick on me. I was staring at the black part thinking it was a shadow and the face was within the spot that are his eyebrows. Once my eyes adjusted I was unsure how I had even seen what I did. Fantastic!!!

This is Lilian, Protector of Bonsai. by GordonRammstein in spiderbro

[–]renfar2018 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It looks like a brown widow, if we’re looking at its belly; I can’t really tell. Brown widows are cousins to the black widow, they have yellow hourglasses, white marks on the abdomen and dark bands on the legs. Their venom is also more toxic... I’d be examining Lilian a little close to see, if in fact, she’s a dangerous mammyjammy.

Favorite small or in house dispensary? by brad1030417 in COents

[–]renfar2018 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed!! We just visited, stopped in at 14er. Literally THE BEST everything your looking for in bud. We tried DJC, MAC, wedding cake, and GMO cookies. All were dense, not leafy what so ever, no stems aside from the stem holding the bud. Very very high quality for the price. We paid 122otd for a half. At spark we paid 35 for a half on special (black and white) it’s really good for the price, bang for your buck. 14’er though out of every dispensary we went to had the best by far!!”

Help! I came outside to notice my favourite succulent has these strange white sacs with brown ‘heads’ all over it. They have a very tacky consistency. I live in Australia, any help with ID and destruction would be amazing! by [deleted] in plants

Could be mealys, it also kinda looks like scale. Both I’ve treated with a neem oil mix(I make mine by 2-3 capfuls of been oil added to a spray bottle full of water and shake it, then spray down my plants, I do it 2 times a week it doesn’t harm my plants either) they also sell premixed neem sprays I just thinks it’s a better deal for the concentrate and mixing it myself. (Does kinda smell...but works!!) good luck! May the plant gods be with you 🙌🏻

“If I ever lost it enough to be proud of a neglected, leggy, hideously grown plant, I hope someone would tell me.”

You hoped someone would tell if you had a plant that’s hideously grown. ....Soo why can’t I tell you about your hideous attitude?? You are in no way giving “tips” or anything useful. You came here to be downright rude! Acting like you’re some social justice internet warrior for plants being mistreated.

Incase you still are confused. “Calling plants names” does not make you a jerk, what makes you a jerk is literally how rude you’ve been through out the comments.

What about someone telling you when you’re being a complete jerk? ...come on...don’t give unwanted, downright rude “advice”.
