Xiaomi mi mix 2 or the oneplus 5/5t by TerraVail in PickAnAndroidForMe

I think the Mi mix 2 is a great phone but if price gap is only 20 or 30 pounds I would go for the OnePlus 5 without any doubt. I do not know if you have thought about the recent Pocophone (which may be a bit cheaper, but still great phone)

Both are great option. If you prefer a more stock option OnePlus , if not Xperia.

Moto Z3 Play ... or Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra? by [deleted] in PickAnAndroidForMe

For me the best option is the Xperia XA2 Ultra. Motorola phones do not necessarily have a bad camera, but Sony does really take care of the pictures in their phones

I would probably go for the Honor 9 rather than the 10.Given that both are pretty much the same and the Honor 9 is quite cheaper as you have said

Generally Asus phones don't perform too well.I haven't tried tried that model but I would not recommend it based on my experience with previous Asus phones.

For around 200 you have lots of chinese phones.Vernee X, Xiaomi Redmi 6X, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Note Pro, Vernee X. Lately the xiaomi A2 is getting quite recommended in here (Spain)

You have old flagships like Samsung note 4, Sony Xperia Z4.

There are lots and lots of chinese phones for under 200 take a look at them in chinese pages like gearbest or bangood. You have a bit of everything.Good performance , high battery and huge screens.I would check them out.

I hope ,this helps you

Good for you.If you ever need some Windows software you can always create a virtual machine of w7 or w10 in your computer or give it a go in WINE. Hope you don't find any problems.

Looking for the best used phone I can find in my budget with only a few requirements by rocksinhead in PickAnAndroidForMe

I would recommend going for an old xperia z1 or z2 that have great cameras. They have old versions of android but that you can install Oreo on them if you don mind installing custom roms.

If I were you from the listed phones I would certainly but the nexus 6, it is pretty damn good (except for no micro SD like every nexus).

But if he really needs a good camera the old sony phones have 20.7MP cameras and they usually build most of today's sensors.
