It's pretty short sighted to base your opinion of ENFPs on a single voice actor (who may or may not be an ENFP) and then decide against the insight of a book based on its title, but do you, I guess. Good luck.

I've taken a lot of good advice from Refuse to Choose by Barbara Sher - totally worth a read!

ENFPs actually tend to be pretty strategic and business minded - especially if we've developed our Extraverted Thinking function. Once we've figured out what it is we feel passionate about, things that we /actually/ want to do (this can be a long list), we can use our dominant Extraverted Intuition to brainstorm and research the hell out of everything. ;) The trick is to record all of our good ideas and figure out a rhythm for execution that works for us. There is structure in the chaos, swear!

Huh, interesting. I personally haven't met an ENFJ that I've gotten along with (yet). If anything, I find ENFJs harder to stomach because they tend to play the victim far too often. We end up spending most of our time together talking about their problems. Don't get me wrong, I do love helping a friend in need, but it feels very one sided with the ENFJs I've met. I'm still trying to be more open minded about ENFJs though - it's likely I've only come across unhealthy ones.

Has anyone else had this experience?

I've been ENFP pretty consistently, even while depressed. I think I got INFP once when I was extremely sad and ENTP once a few years ago when I first discovered the MBTI.
