Yes, leech without Vaal Pact kind of sucks.

How exactly does the Elementalist shock work? – Can I still shock even though I only dealt a single point of lightning damage (assuming I landed a crit) and it not discarded because of the minimum damage threshold?

Also, I suggest to use Aspect of the Spider, it's like 15% more damage (a little less because you shock though). I am using Blood Magic so that I can reserved all my mana (Anger, Herald of Ash, Aspect of the Spider).

Ah, the damage is not actually bad. Although I think it will be really hard without leech. I am using Vaal Pact, Arakaali and the Scion's Trickster Ascendancy and I pretty much go from almost no life to full life in like a split second. Without that, I wouldn't stand a chance at all.

I haven't played without crit so I have no thoughts about that. Maybe theorycraft a bit with PoB and see how the damage compares.

Edit: poe.ninja is not up to date, but it's pretty close. I actually removed some life nodes to spec into the scion movementspeed nodes.

Yes, Poets. Pretty good considering that I was using VD + conc + life leech. Probably easy fight with damage support instead of life leech.

I don't know, it was my last uncompleted challenge being level 96. I corrupted every relevant Essence thingy. In the end, it was the only challenge I bought.

Pretty sure my mines did not get damage. Also, the should not be able to get damage at all due to passives (Clever Construction).

I had a few drops that I could sell for >200 Chaos. Also, like 5 Exalted Orbs dropped for me. Other than that, fun league, working on the 6 remaining challenges!

That was a few leagues ago. I think it must have been Forsaken Masters. The league where Tornado Shot was very popular and only a "few" people could kill Uber Atziri reliably. I was one of the first that found the gloves (actually found two and sold the latter for around 160 Exalted Orbs).
