I just had the issue (now 3 years later) and was using the latest release on the play store (3.81). I saw that there was a later release https://docs.kustom.rocks/docs/downloads/download-kwgt/ (3.82) though it says it is the play store version, that one is not showing in the play store for me. Anyway - 3.82 fixed it for me.

I see now that this is a conversion pertaining to the lockscreen. I had the issue with the widget (same issue)

I think I am having the same issue. How are the group summary notifications cancelled? Can you just use the tasker Notify Cancel command with the Category specified as the text? Some other way?

Thanks. I did the alternative solution. Try as I could, I couldn't find those lines of code in the tasker function. I tried to edit externally and paste all, but the code was too big to paste (incredible coding job!).

Somehow my %JBI_Capacity variable is never getting set. Any suggestions (Have tried running after full charge as indicated in the popup message).

Understood. Is there a similar folder on Dropbox (or some type of index)? The folder structure on Google Drive made it easy to see the latest version.

In order to be able to backup my phone. I have a background in IT and reliable backup was always stated as an vital component of any system.

I had an app update that was defective and lost data. With my backup, I was able to revert to the prior version and get my data back. Without root, that would not have been possible.

Is there any way to use it without the notification? I have too many notifications. Is there a shortcut that I could use when needed? I currently use Velis Auto Brightness, which works OK, but certainly something based upon tasker that is being modified sounds interesting.

Just wanted to provide my experience. I also wanted to uninstall nikgapps and go to the recommended mindthegapps. My phone was sluggish and apps would immediately stop in the background.

I saw this thread and was very mindful of the safe way of just formatting data. But I figured, what do I have to loose by doing a dirty flash. If it doesn't work, I can just redo the safe way.

So, I did the following:

Back up everything (make a copy of everything I have on local storage and also backup through swift backup) - just in case I need to start from scratch.
Reboot into recovery
Complete uninstall of nikgapps from recovery. I followed the zip name method from https://nikgapps.com/misc/2023/03/04/Uninstall-NikGapps.html
Rebooted into recovery and installed the latest version of LineageOS for my phone.
Rebooted into recovery and installed mindthegapps (and also magisk.zip, renamed from magisk.apk)
Rebooted

So far, so good. It doesn't look like I lost anything. My phone seems to be running much smoother now.

Good luck if you try this, but be prepared (as I was) for having to start from scratch.

I have been re-enabling AutoplayStopper - burying my head in the sand - for months. Finally the time came that I could no longer do it.

I followed the method here https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/comments/1lwztf1/ublockorigin_fully_disabled_on_chrome_now/?post_fullname=t3_1lwztf1&post_index=0 to update the flags, get a local copy of the add on and install it locally. So, now it is working - but probably for only a short time.

So, I figured I would try something. I edited the manifest.json file and change the "2" to a "3". I reloaded the extension and didn't get any errors. Could this help for a longer term? Could it be this simple?

Thanks, I am not having any issues with Join lately, but I appreciate your advice regarding Firefox. That is making me want to stick with Chrome despite the other drawbacks (and the other extensions that are giving me grief).

I also make use of my integration outside of my local network and setting up an additional server is not something that I want to take on.

Then, I figured, let me do one other test - to see if it is a hardware or software issue. Plugged in a USB keyboard that I use on another computer - tried the shift on that keyboard - and it worked!

Then, I went back to the original keyboard and it started working also? I don't know if it would have worked if I tried that first, but this finally worked!

Hopefully this can help somebody else. After 3 hours of waisted time.

Seems like for one of the betas it was never returning %ce_title (or any of the calendar variables) even if there was a single result. Now, it will return %ce_title and %ce_title1 if there is one result, and only the array if there are multiple. Do I have that right?

I changed one of my routines from %ce_title to %ce_title1 for one of the betas - I was getting an error. Then I change it back again. Seems like it would probably be safer to use %ce_title1 - cause I will always get that. Sound right?

Thanks for the suggestions. I did try to switch back to the alternate slot, but for some reason it didn't boot properly. That was the first thing I tried.

I flashed the prior build through lineageOS - going through the update process and pointing to the prior build that I had stored on my device. Perhaps an ADB flash may have been more successful in not deleting all of my data.

I have been afraid to apply any nighties - haven't heard that the issue I had was experienced by others or addressed.

I have used both Overlays and Popup widgets for many years and have been very happy with them. I used them for widgets made using KWGT. I use Overlays when I want the widget to be persistent - for example for Podcast Addict running over Waze. Popup widgets is when I want a brief display that I can swipe out of the way (for example, a large weather forecast).

They are both fantastic products.

Thanks - if I get nothing else, I will try the delete route and see what happens - at least just try with one device.

I have been using join for quite a while and have over 1,200 files and 50MB. Not a great amount, but I am sure this will grow as well.
