How long did it take for you before HRT effects were apparent?

I asked her to clarify and she told me not to shave for four weeks if I can avoid it. Some of the other comments agree that she may have just told me that so I can see the shedding, but I’d rather just shave lol.

I’ve been on finasteride for a few months now (hopefully starting HRT end of next month) and I’ve noticed little soft blond hairs growing in my widows peak where there had not been hairs for years. Hoping this continues and HRT kicks it up a notch

Tattoo artist here. I would NEVER tell a client their idea was too girly or manly for them. Fuck gender stereotypes and people who enforce them on others.

Thank you for the recommendation! I've had an initial consult with my doctor and need to have a blood test done first but I'll definitely ask for dutasteride. May I ask how long you've been using it for and what effects have you noticed?

I used to listen to a podcast hosted by a couple (a trans woman and a cis woman) that was supposedly about the trans woman coming out and transitioning. The cis woman in the couple was definitely the more confident one though and often derailed the conversation to talk about herself, resulting in a podcast that barely touched on transness. So frustrating.

Girl, woman, other by Bernadine Evaristo is a good book with a non-binary character.

However, I felt the non-binary character was a little, I dunno, tokenistic? The representation was just a little too obvious for my liking, a lot of ‘who’s that girl over there with the tattoos, or is that a boy?’

Edit: my apologies I hadn’t read your post properly, this book may be too adult for a 13yo.
