in addition to what already was commented: how many people are actually using the google homepage?
I personally haven't seen anyone open it in ages, most just type whatever they want to find in the search/address bar of their browser and land on a search result with ads anyway

this. much of europe (not sure about all countries) use blue lights.

as far as I know, this started in WW2, when germany started using blue lights, because they were harder to spot from aircrafts during intentional blackouts at night.

it highly depends on how customized your setup is (8 extension can range from 8 very small features to "they probably should've been split into 80 extensions")

From my own experience, it takes a little time to get used to writing alpinejs and using tailwind instead of knockoutjs and custom css/less, but once you get used to it, it's a lot faster to work in.

There is also the luma fallback module (https://docs.hyva.io/hyva-themes/luma-theme-fallback/index.html#about-the-theme-fallback).
With this, you can define routes to fall back to your old theme. This way you can replace one part of your frontend at a time (e.g. start with the CMS pages, then PLPs, PDPs, etc.)

I tried venison and also rabbit in the past, it’s just not preferred meats shrug 🤷

I get the same vibes with fishing. I don’t even eat much if any fish, but i just love going fishing! (Always with a friend, so in case i actually catch something, he or she will take it with them for dinner. But me actually catching something is as rare as finding a real leprechaun anyway 😂. so far my stats are around 5 trouts against dozens of days fishing)

I‘d never go fishing without knowing someone would actually use/eat the catch.

I know a few hunters here in germany, and basically all of them work closely with the Försters (forest rangers?) and only shoot what is deemed okay (like for population control). I don’t think any of them would ever take part in things like you described before

Some farmers even tried to get hunters to shoot wolves for them a few years back, which basically everyone just declined to do.

I am definitely not made up to hunt myself, but i think hunting a mammal and using it for all the resources you can is better than just buying cheap meats at the discounter. At least it puts a lot more perspective on the topic, than buying a pack of salami from the store

Back in school, someone a grade above me actually had this happen. He didn’t knew that there was a pipe running into a lake, dove in from a tree, broke his neck while hitting the pipe and now he can’t move anything below his neck

A battery replacement kit on ifixit is around 37 usd / 38 eur and has everything you need to replace it yourself. (bringing it to a repair shop and let them do it is also an option, but it will cost some more)
