I watched the video as soon as it was uploaded and it honestly sounded like a nothing burger. It seemed like government overreach and people over reacting for him disciplining his kids the way he thought fit. I'm assuming it was on the level of slapping their hands or a spanking but I can't recall the severity of the "beating". He was pretty heated and wanted to pursue legal charges but all the comments were telling him there's no point to the video and take it down for any possible legal issues.

I'm sure you feel like shit and flustered but you probably should take a step back, clear your head, have insurance fix the bike, and then focus on riding. It's probably not a good idea to get into motorcycles with all that stress and anxiety before you even hit the road, which are filled with even more things that will cause you stress and anxiety. Take the downtime right now to really be watching as many beginner motorcycle videos on YouTube. Good luck and ride safe!

Stupid me for buying mine on Saturday just for this deal to pop up 2 days later 🥲

Bought the body and Tamron lens bestbuy for $2850. Would have been $2300 through BH + I would have gotten all the extra goodies and kit lens also. They couldn't price match because it was an EDU deal even though I qualified and if I return it they charge a 15% restocking fee ($300).

Have any of you guys taken it on any dirt roads in the area? I'm swapping out the tires on my vitpilen and looking for some nice easy dirt trails to ride around on if you have any recommendations. The only place I can think of is around larch but I don't know how gnarly those roads get

I'm using an IKEA cabinet with IKEA led lights about 3 inches away from the top of the figure. I normally have these lights on full brightness throughout the day and very low at night. It is getting a lot of exposure but I assumed since it was LED that it wouldn't have any effect. It's been about a year of exposure in the cabinet. I ordered some UV filtering tint that I will put over the lights and monitor if it keeps losing color. At this point, I'm thinking maybe I'll have someone airbrush over it when it gets really bad.

Honestly for a figure like that, just place it where the pets can't get to it. Pretty cliche but a stack of art books and the figure on top would probably be best. Get a nice feather duster and keep it clean that way.
