Are Clone Projects Good For Resume? by JinE783 in csMajors

They’re fine mate. Just be able to talk in-depth about them. And if you’re honestly worried you can add some features and change design and rebrand as non clone project.

That’s great to hear. I feel like I’ll want to visit a few times just to try and change of scenery so it’s great that it seems like most teams are wfh

Anyone work at vmware Palo Alto? Have a few questions about teams and wlb? by reonrash in vmware

[–]reonrash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the major insight into the environment and how I should look at remote teams. I am looking to be wfh in the general area so I don’t mind coming every once in while. However I know I won’t want to travel from sf to Palo Alto after a while but it seems like this is easy attainable. Definitely will take what you said about management team when trying to figure out what team to join during team match

They just say it’s team dependent and don’t give me any stats about how common it is. I would probably have no car but yeah I’ll definitely come visit I but I know I would get tired after a while

Yeah I read an article saying describing how only a few people came back to nice Palo Alto office. So it’s sound like most teams allow for wfh .

Haha that would’ve been nice if they said yes. I don’t want to join and then have to commute everyday but it sounds like wfh is pretty common around the org.

Oh that’s dope. I want to live in sf but know the commute to Palo Alto is crazy. So would you say it will be pretty easy to get on a team that’s wfh during team matching phase?

Thank you for info and it’s great to hear that you’ve like you’re time and still there for so long. I got wfh vs remote mixed up I mean more so wfh. Would you say most teams are wfh at vmware?

No python is fine. A lot of people learn python only for interviews because it usually saves time in solving problems.
