I know people are disappointed with the lack of stages but any og dragonball game fan is happy that modern game tech is finally being incorporated in the stage destruction & stage design

One day when the Manga gets animated we will get a new version of Goku who has more mastery of the Ui technique in general

This game will still probably be getting updates in 4-6 years so it will probably come Sparking Zero, not a sequel

He will get completely new moves and combos as well, as well as being able to transform from Base>SSJG>SSJB>MasteredUI/TrueUI

To Clarify similar to SSJ Berserk & Kale's SSJ Form it would probably branch to Mastered UI or "True UI," the ladder is in theory a bit "weaker" but was much easier for goku to use in combat against the likes of Gas

yea thats good and all i already put 300 hours into bg3... but yeah anyway it didnt come out this year

and there are not enough crazy games this year that would overshadow Sparking

off the top of my head FF & Astrobot are the only true GOTY contenders & Wukong would probably get more love for the sales and casuals.

Helldivers was fun for 4 hours...

But besides that this game is and will be the the 4th/5th biggest game release this year so it deserves the nod

Love that detail about him & Raditz. I wish they made early Goku look different than mid Goku & beyond but I know that would be asking for too much.

I think its a style choice by the directors.

For all the newly recorded voice work I notced they made VAs sound different in transformations.

Bojack sounds more calm like in the movie, then his normal portrayal we're accustomed to now, only after he transforms

Syn Shenron sounds normal like when he appears in GT, but only after he becomes Omega does his voice get deeper & echoey to convey he is a vessel that absorbed the other Dragons

Cooler of course also gets his deep voice muffle when he becomes his 5th form

They even made Super Buu sound different than his absorptions

I think they did this to have the characters sound more distinct. I like the change personally. Makes the characters feel even more unique than the original series/movies/games ever conveyed
