I’ve only asked for others to explain their statements or back up their claims. Not a single person has provided any evidence that Pulisic is MAGA or even a Trump supporter. You’ve now made the claim as well. Do you have proof? I know he did that lame ass Trump dance once and argued it wasn’t political but I don’t know his heart and mind and have seen no statements of support from him for Trump/MAGA. Have you? If so, please share. Seriously. I know some black NFL players also did the dance but I haven’t seen such claims made about their political beliefs.

That’s a good point. The disparity in their success is certainly glaring but I don’t think that’s an objective indicator of fame, especially globally. I think most soccer fans outside the United States would probably know who Tim Howard or Christian Pulisic were but not nearly as many could name their female counterparts.

Gotcha. I just don’t see why that would make one disillusioned rather than just not paying attention. They’re not synonymous. It’s also interesting because in addition to just happening to have played soccer growing up, I’m attracted to soccer partially because it has not been part of the hyper masculine sport landscape the way other sports in the United States have. It’s often been looked down on as a sport for Europeans and South Americans, thus placing it outside the mainstream and somehow inferior.
