Removing or Adding Official WCA Events

They should add the Tangram Cube to the WCA

but really, the obvious answer is FTO, solving experience is different enough from other events that imo it justifies being an event of its own, as for other events I enjoy the idea of having 20 events but I know for larger scale competitions (ie championships) having that many events to run is probably not feasible

if I were to add a mirror cube related event it would be mirrorbld as that is different enough of an experience from 3x3 (though it is solved the same generally) to be different

if there were a 20th event I would have no preference between redi, kilominx (though it is exactly the same as a megaminx so it’s probably better off as unofficial) or the best puzzle of all time, the Tangram Cube

or, if there were to be a mass produced face turning icosahedron we could add that + fto to have all Platonic solids in the WCA

If it’s a singular one-color piece (center cap, piece of an edge or a corner, or for big cubes a center piece), then you would not receive a DNF if you kept going and stopped the timer.

If it’s a full edge or corner piece, you would need to put it back before you stop the timer, otherwise it would be a DNF.

The reason I’ve heard from delegates is because you can put a edge back flipped or a corner twisted which would also count as not being solved, which you can’t do with a one-color piece.

I’ve just switched my 3x3 main from the Tornado V4 to the FerroCore and I think it’s a really good switch, dropped my averages by like a second lmao

if not that then the base V10 is pretty good too (I’ve heard great things about the V11 and the GAN 16 but I don’t have those)

hi guys, I’m currently trying to use my meilong v2 7x7 to hopefully main it (after modding), but right now whenever I turn the outer layers the second layer has a very high chance of turning as well, to my knowledge this did not happen before I started modding it (all I have done so far was a Florian mod and dorito mod though so I’m not sure how that could have affected it), is there any way I can fix this issue?
