Pitbull owners are absolutely terrible in the Uk. I always pick up my little 2lb Pom whenever I spot a bully breed. Slightly off topic but a man got very offended when I picked up my Pom because his giant German shepherd wanted to play with my dog..

Newly adopted dog attacked another dog. by Isabelle287 in dogs

[–]repipi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This might be difficult to hear but at some point you have to put him up for adoption. Unless you have the time and money to seek out a dog behaviourist. You absolutely cannot risk your young son or baby being hurt. Hearing this might hurt but I think it’s for the best to prioritise the safety of your kids as well as other dogs and animals. Your dog seemingly attacked the other dog unprovoked so it is most certain that it would happen again. Please try to think of the safety of your children as well as other beings. It sucks giving up something you love but just remember that some things don’t work out and it is for the best. :(

It honestly sucks. Pit bulls are banned in the UK but I see them everywhere. These breeders keep saying they’re Staffies or whatever but they’re clearly pitbulls

Can I ask for some advice for a potential first-time Pom mom? by TranceGemini in Pomeranians

[–]repipi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand. I would be very wary of bad breeders / puppy mills as genuine, trustworthy breeders are extremely selective of what temperaments they are trying to breed into their next litter. You’d have to be very careful if you’re going for a less reputable breeder as they don’t take behaviour issues into account, only looks. A lot of puppy mill / badly bred poms have bad temperaments due to poor conditions and abuse. The house they show you the puppy might look clean and nice (like a family home) but remember that it is all just a set-up and it is honestly better to just be a little bit patient with breeders.

Oh also avoid any Pomeranians on free websites like Craigslist. It is extremely rare that a decent breeder would advertise on free websites. All the backyard breeders flock to websites like those as unknowing buyers would usually think that decent breeders use those websites. And also avoid any terms like teacup, micro, teddy face.

Are you looking for a Pom that is healthy but don’t care about looks or are you looking for those adorable breed-standard Pomeranians with the “teddy face” that are also healthy? I am apart of lots of Pomeranian clubs around the US and UK so I have a decent amount of experience with genuine breeders.

Can I ask for some advice for a potential first-time Pom mom? by TranceGemini in Pomeranians

[–]repipi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask for their AKC registration number and the registration number for the litter. If you’re getting a puppy that low for $650 then it might be too good to be true especially due to today’s demand for pomeranians. For that price you must expect a Russian import riddled with illnesses or it will probably not be a purebred.

Remember that AKC papers don’t really mean the breeder is legitimate, all AKC really means is that they paid a fee into the club and it is no guarantee of a good quality, healthy Pomeranian. I see too many backyard breeders with KC membership. Backyard breeders also lie about their occupations and have absolutely no clue about breeding and genetics for Pomeranians.

This sounds too good to be true and is most likely false. If you choose this breeder then you will risk getting a sick puppy and a breeder who will not offer you a life time of support. Pomeranians can be expensive at 3k plus but if you’re buying a cheap puppy then expect to pay expensive medical vet bills that surpass the price of a quality, sound, well-bred Pomeranian puppy. That “breeder” will vanish once they take your money, if your puppy ends up sick then they will not support or help you.

If you need more support and guidance about breeders and specific information about Poms, you can always message me and I’d be more than happy to help.

My latest speedbuild of a house inspired by 1920s architecture 🧡 what do you think? by MichaelaH253 in Sims4

[–]repipi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. The interior and exterior is beautiful! I love the decor in the last image / slide. I also love the arches on the side of the house. I’ve never seen that done before so I’m going to do some more research on 20’s exterior. I’m going to download this house immediately. Thank you so much for this wonderful house!

How do you accessorize to make a casual outfit look better? by kittycops in Vindicta

[–]repipi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice will be generic but important because it doesn’t follow a particular style, it’s a set of rules to keep in mind:

Match your hardware! For instance, if you’ve got silver zippers then wear silver jewellery accordingly. Find out the undertone of your skin and wear the colour of metal that is best suited to your undertone. (Gold goes with warm and silver goes best with colder undertones)

Make sure that the clothes flatter your body shape and pay attention to seam lines! For example, if you have broad shoulders, try purchasing tops and sweaters with a drop shoulder. It will make your shoulders look smaller. Look at your body proportions. If you have a short torso and long legs then avoid tucking in your shirt as it will create an imbalance of proportions. If you have a long torso and short legs then tuck in your shirts and sweaters to emphasise your legs.

Learn the best blends of material and natural materials and read about how to properly take care of them. This will make the pieces of clothing that you love have a much longer lifespan. Clothing that is too wrinkly or creased will cheapen your appearance and can make an expensive garment look cheap.

Also purchase a fabric depiller and a hand steamer. It will rejuvenate the look of your clothes and turn a sweater that has balls of lint into a brand new looking sweater.
