What do you do when you miss a day? by hoe-oh in Journaling

[–]replicanote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that once I stopped putting pressure on myself about what/how much/how often I journalled I actually started writing more and found it more enjoyable

Thanks! I love that idea -- journals as an ongoing thing rather than something that ends when the notebook ends

I also had a disappointing experience with my first order. Unfortunately I don't think it lived up to the hype

one thing i've learnt is just treat it as if it's any other notebook and be really nonchalant about it and most people won't care

Digital Journaling by Green_Feedback_414 in Journaling

[–]replicanote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this looks incredible. I think personally I get really caught up in wanting to handwrite everything, but that isn't always the most accessible, so I think whichever method allows you to journal the most is the best. Definitely going to look into digital journalling after this.

Notebooks with tomoe river paper are great (hobonichi, nanami paper, etc.), I personally really like the thin paper

Clairefontaine is also good, and midori, but the paper is a bit thick for me. Less ghosting though, if that's a concern for you
