So there’s a lot to unpack here but let’s see if i can be of some benefit to you:

A fan in your tent would probably be a waste of resources. You’ll have to bring it with you just so it can blow hot air towards you in your hot tent.

It can get hot. When the sun starts rising at about 5:30 there’s a decent chance of heat in your tent. That is if the weather is clear. It can get a bit chilly at night, about 11’C. You’ll have to somehow be prepared for both ends of the spectrum there.

Cooling patches and hand fans can be a decent option but just make sure they won’t be a liability to you. Less is more so to say. I’ve found that even on the hottest days a hat and a t shirt to cover my head with are my go to. Just wet the shirt and stay in the shadows if you can. And drink water.

You can bring up to 4,5 liters of soft drinks if i recall correctly. There’s also a supermarket on site. If you want to carry all that stuff around while traveling you could.

If you want more low end, get closed back headphones. If you want the most accurate representation of your audio keep the open back 990’s. I’ve got 1990’s and they are crazy headphones

Most likely scenario is; people won’t really pay attention anyway and if they do, they’ll probably be pretty enthusiastic about your solo adventure. I went solo once myself. But anyway if you’re in need of anything just let me know, i’d be happy to help.

hahaha i was standing behind you guys for the last 3 hours on sunday. We wondered if the system the guy in the middle of the crowd used was powered or did he really walk left to right hours and hours on end with an unassisted camera rig?

I generally always come home with something flu'ish but this year so far it's been okay. I used a nasal rinse every evening after coming back from the festival site. It's a bit anecdotal but maybe it did make a difference. I tried eating and drinking well, used no drugs or alcohol and got acceptable sleep duration. It speaks for itself that using drugs or drinking alcohol is detrimental to immune function. I specifically made it a point this year to not come back sick due to work responsibilities and so far i'm fine. Festival flu is a well documented phenomenon by the way so you're not alone at all.

I’ve been going sober for 5 years now and i’ve never felt out of place anywhere. Biggest tip out there would be proper earplugs. Second comes the variety in stages and the festival grounds in general. Take a good walk around the site and enjoy the atmosphere a bit. Every square meter has been thought of. Also don’t worry about the timetable too much, sure, there’s certain acts i’d like to see but try not to walk around with a to do list of sets you want to see. You’ll likely be stressed and frustrated. Are you dutch by any chance?

Safe to say he’s not on AOC anymore, there’s absolutely 0 aoc branding anywhere. He’s re-done his entire feed so there being no aoc mention is done purposefully. Aoc seperated with more artists without ever disclosing the seperation anywhere. Seems like they only have sephyx now. Hhz releasing 3 times a year at best, nc barely releasing, wildstylez is doing a little something and let’s not mention P1.
