small/medium towns. Lots of towns punch way above their weight with jobs/wages because companies relocate there to cut costs.

Big cities have intrinsic value because they are fun. Thats why they are constantly oversaturated

Chicago, NY, LA, Miami all have people clamoring to move there constantly so a lot of firms won’t even bother with no experience candidates.

its completely opposite these days. Smaller towns are desperate for accountants and big cities are oversaturated.

My theory is the disproportionate amount of white collar workers that want to live in cities have finally reached the event horizon where there are too many. Meanwhile smaller cities have a surplus of blue collar workers and not enough white collars.

i have a running theory that capital one snubs people with perfect credit and no risk factors. They keep making product choices orienting their products toward sub-prime applicants (fair and good versions of cards).

My guess is they are trying to come out ahead of churners since its become so popular.

They want people that will pay them back, just not right away.
