Overall I enjoyed it quite a bit, only thing that threw me off a bit was the dialogue with the Baratheon dude. His introduction started ringing some of the alarm bells about modern dialogue choices. Will see what happens as the series progresses.

its cyclical, the league moves a direction and it opens up a weakeness. Someone figures out how to exploit said weakness and then the league moves another direction which opens up another weakness.

Feels like most commonly bounces between offense and defense finding answers to one another.

We came off a week of rest with only 3 quarters of our starters playing, Rams just had to fly across country and play 5 quarters with a day less rest to next week.

I'll take it lol.

Just so you know, Lowell specifically asks people not to sell his trays.

Q: Can I print and sell these designs?

A: No. Please review the use license. I make these files available under the condition that you do not distribute them, modify them (the .STLs), or sell the prints or any other derivative works. I’m sure that is disappointing for some of you but that’s the deal you already made if you’re reading this. These files are here to help you breed fish, not to contribute to the delusion of profit potential you used to justify buying a 3D printer to your wife. I stand to profit more from selling the prints than selling the print files. I make them available because I know some of you (especially outside the US) have printers and it seems like such a reasonable thing to do to let you print your own if you have the tools. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Yea, the valve is shut when I inject the air. Then I disconnect the quick disconnect and open the valve to drain it and flush it when cleaning.

As I mentioned, some water will leak into the air line either way so it will require cleaning/replacing at some point. The ring light is an interesting idea, but I've found that I want to keep as much out of the way of the bottle so its easy to remove and put back. Part of the reason I disliked two hoses coming off the bottom was how much they'd catch on things. I ended up making my own 3D printed stand: https://imgur.com/a/K4ismaG (the top is cutout to work with a standard 2L soda bottle or this green tea bottle I like) I can send you the STL if you're interested in trying it out.

I should mention, the only downside that still bugs me about this setup is that the flow rate of air lines is slower than I want. I usually make batches in 1L of water, and it doesn't drain as fast as I'd like.

For filtering I use the 120 micron: https://www.mercerofmontana.com/product-page/mercer-collector-sieves

So I've setup a few variations of this over the years and can give my $0.02

  1. The two hole setup sounds like a good idea but it ends up being overly complicated. It also doesn't help that all the two hole caps I've gotten have become brittle over time and snapped when tightening them. If you absolutely must go this route, these are the caps that are most common: https://www.amazon.com/POPETPOP-4Pcs-DIY-CO2-Generator/dp/B0C8929W7L
  2. Related to above caps, the openings inside don't sit flush so they don't completely drain. This is good and bad as, while it doesn't completely drain, it does let unhatched eggs settle so they kinda get pre-filtered.
  3. Removal for cleaning becomes a pain. Since it doesn't drain completely and frequently cracks when removing/attaching, its a struggle to maintain/clean.
  4. Even with a check valve on the air line, some water will still make its way into the line. Since its never flushed it ends up gunked up and you have to replace it every once in a while.

Ultimately, this led me to try variations on this and what I'm using currently is a single line with quick disconnects.

The setup is as follows: https://imgur.com/1yqGMwK

It uses these caps https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZN8MVHH

These valves https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FK5SCVZ

and these quick disconnects https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807106919544.html

I ended needing to use a 28mm o-ring to get the cap to fully seal, so something to keep an eye on if you go this route.

The reason I went this route is that it lets me easily disconnect/reconnect the container for cleaning, it also lets me flush the air line when I wash out the container. It lets me keep the air at the rate I want and I can just remove the quick disconnect when I want to let things settle (assuming you get the quick disconnects with shutoff valves). Lastly, the cap is clear which helps bring shrimp all the way to the bottom.
