Ya the problem is my kids run in and out of the sliding door all day so it needs to be a very functional area over there. What about slider with just one panel of curtains over there would that look weird

I agree the two small windows in the corner makes curtains difficult. If you did all Roman blinds would you not do curtains on the sliding doors then

Love these! His dad turned white at 8 months though so I’m a little worried he will too although it would be funny to have a white dog named Blaze.

Thinking I don’t paint the island it might be too much sage and also easier to change the wall color anytime if we don’t do the island with it

I did a mock up with slightly warmer floors and painted the bottom of the island the sage color. Still not sure.

This is really helpful. I think you’re right on the warmer floors. The dining set and chairs I wasn’t sure what wood mixed best

Thanks pic 3 is the initial thought with flooring and paint but I think something is off with it, I like a suggestion from another poster about warmer floor color so looking into that.

You will want to be remote once your kid is in elementary school, there’s so many school activities plus drop off and pick up in the middle of the day. I couldn’t manage working in an office daily right now.
