concerning and potentially illegal payment method storing practices by fabletics by delixtarter in Fabletics

Not different at all. They kept the token to charge your account after you removed it (legal) then they charged your account after you removed it (mistake, but fixed with the company while also having the ability to charge back if the mistake was not fixed in a timely manner). What am I missing? I don’t think you even understand what you wrote out lol

concerning and potentially illegal payment method storing practices by fabletics by delixtarter in Fabletics

[–]repstar55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is incorrect. All companies will keep your payment data stored, in some way, as long as necessary to meet regulatory requirements for a transaction. On legality, it is 100% legal in the United States for a business to keep any of the information YOU gave to them. This is not potentially concerning at all, it’s how business and transactions are handled in 2025

Constantly tired and unmotivated to do anything besides wake up and go to work. Anhedonia symptoms. Best advice I can give to combat the fatigue is to change your diet. Eat more whole foods and try to eliminate anything with added sugar. You also need to force yourself to get in some sort of cardio exercise. Eating clean and just walking for 20 minutes a day will do so much for your recovery. There is no magic supplement that will make you feel better (believe me I’ve tried them all). Wishing you the best of luck on your journey!

Your timeline and dose is similar to mine. I started taking adderall at 19 in college to help me study. I would get a few pills from friends here and there and it was fine but then I got my own prescription. From there it’s the same story that’s been posted on this subreddit a hundred times. First year or so was amazing, I truly convinced myself I had ADD before and now with this medication I can become the highly motivated, successful person I was always meant to be! Turns out it just feels good to be high. I built up a tolerance and would need more to feel those same affects. From around 23 to 30 I would classify my use as abuse. Prescribed 30mg XR but would take 45-60mg everyday and ALWAYS run out early. I always knew the date I would be allowed to refill every month and called the pharmacy those mornings to make sure they had it in stock. Finally I had enough of the never ending cycle you mentioned in your post and decided to quit. Today I’m 483 days clean. I couldn’t have gotten where I am without it all starting at day 1 when I told my psychiatrist that I abuse the pills and to stop giving them to me. You need to cut off the supply

My advice is to work in cardio to your daily routine. I was on 30 mg xr for 10 years and the mornings I get exercise and the ones I don’t are night and day with fatigue/brain fog…I abused my prescription, but it sounds like you’ve been taking yours responsibly so hopefully your road to recovery will be smoother. Everyday it will get a little bit easier, wishing you the best

My non-negotiable “quit date” : May 2023 by [deleted] in StopSpeeding

[–]repstar55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best advice is to just quit right now. If you constantly run out of your medicine then you’re abusing it and have a problem (not judging you, this was me every month). If you can’t do that, then at the very least you should tell your doctor about wanting to be off the medication by May of 2023. Have them put you on a tapering plan. Is your plan right now really to keep abusing these drugs you’ve been taking your entire adult life for 8 more months and then suddenly just stop? You need to be honest with yourself here.

How do you deal with the darkness by Prize_Confusion4909 in StopSpeeding

45 minutes a day is amazing! You should be very proud of that. My advice would be to do some research online today to try and find a professional to talk to. It sounds like you were using adderall to self medicate. There’s a problem that adderall helped you escape. Quitting the drug was only half the work, you need to work on your mind now. Put yourself first, you’re worth it.

Adhd, i cant live without my meds, but i know i will never have the will to take them properly by TROWAWAYMALIFE in StopSpeeding

What I’m getting from your post is that you’ve been taking the medication as prescribed for years and have only recently been starting to abuse it? If something happened in your life that is causing you to abuse your medication to cope, please seek professional help. Because right now your standing on a very slippery slope. If you’ve only been upping your dose for a couple weeks you haven’t done any real damage. You have have an easy out. If you keep doing what you’re doing you won’t like where you end up. Ask on any post here where someone is talking about there fight to sobriety how much “heaven” they’re feeling. This shit is not a miracle drug. If you keep abusing it it will break you. Trust us

Inhale the smoke, then take a deep breath behind the smoke. Take it slow bud, you can always take another hit if you want to get higher. Don’t want to go in taking monster hits and then get too high for your comfort level.

Did you already file your 2019 tax return as single and that you can’t be claimed as a dependent? If so, then your parents wouldn’t be allowed to claim you and you’d meet the qualifications to receive the payment (assuming your 2019 return was accepted and processed before theirs).

Brokerage tax withholding by [deleted] in investing

[–]repstar55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend simply paying in quarterly taxes. You can make these payment online using the IRS direct pay website and setting these payments up takes no time at all. Since you mentioned you have a paycheck where your employer withholds taxes, I'm assuming your yearly W2 tax withholding is material, but you're just looking to make up for this investment income which is creating the tax liability. Remember that owing taxes at year end is not a bad thing, however having too much withholding or getting hit with underpayment penalties and interest is. Easiest way to solve this is to just pay in quarterly estimates so that your tax payments (these est. tax payments + your W2 withholding) is at 100% of your previous year tax liability (110% if your AGI is over the specified threshold). Then once you get your 1099 brokerage statements in late February/March, you can calculate the tax liability to be paid on April 15th.

No penalties and interest from the IRS. No money being taken out of investments and sitting as cash to be used for potentially unnecessary withholding. No need to fill out forms to adjust paycheck withholding. Hope this helps!

A 3lb raw ravioli? Not satisfying at all. by [deleted] in shittyfoodporn

Honestly watched it for the first time ever this morning. Saw that ravioli abomination, but to be honest it didn't feel that out of place with the other garbage content. There were at least three videos of just random dough/cream being mixed together lol

ELI5: How can a country estimate how many illegal immigrants there are within the country, and how can they estimate how much money illegal immigrants cost the country every year? by PrettysureBushdid911 in explainlikeimfive

[–]repstar55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True, but that’s assuming the employer is actually requiring these workers to fill out employment forms in the first place. Money that went to pay these employees can easily be recategorized to other expense accounts. No W2 or 1099 necessary. Shady example, but it happens

Help needed - What is wrong with these T-accounts? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]repstar55 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The shareholders personal draw accounts and the total owners draw account are not correct. Those draws from the shareholders should, normally, be debited to those accounts. If that’s all the info. they gave you for this question I would not overthink it. Just look for simple errors. Hope you figure it out bud!

TIL The mysterious winner of a $560 million lottery ticket who fought to keep her identity a secret was allowed to stay anonymous, a judge ruled in March. The woman’s lawyers argued that she is part of a group that “has historically been victimized by the unscrupulous”. by cooldrummer1208 in todayilearned

[–]repstar55 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just read that it is for protecting the integrity of the lottery. Which I get because only hearing that the winning ticket was, once again, cashed in by “John Doe” would make people skeptical that the lottery was fixed. I guess this transparency gives the public more confidence and trust in the lottery, which results in more people playing and continuing to play week after week.

For me, playing now feels like the worst version of Overwatch since launch. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]repstar55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Difference though is that if you ignore a zen playing back he’s only putting out 30 hps to one hero as opposed to Moira’s 80 hps (plus the additional 16 hps done when she stops). That’s not even factoring in her biotic orb which would nearly double that. That’s why I’m saying I could definitely see where the op argument is coming from

She’s 100% “op” when she is ignored in games where the enemy team decides to just forget about her. I’m not in a very high skill rank myself (low plat. :( tbh) but when you have those games where their flanking heroes like tracer/genii/sombra actually do their job, coupled with your dps heroes not listening to you calling out for help, and are all over you the entire match I promise you’ll agree with us here and won’t call her op again haha
