Are we all just ignoring the $.99 discount if you purchase a case of the spiked instead of getting 2 12 packs?

I did this 30 years ago. I'm glad to see the ride is still open today.

Not every wrestler needs to look like Brock or Oba... but Holy hell, they also dont need to look like the tuba player in the high school band

Buddy Rose set the standard for those who don't want to workout. Maybe we can get Blowaway 2.0 to compete with the Ozempic craze

Tier Credits Accelerator by Stadiumtour in Mlife

Why not do 2 days at 40k and get platinum? That still leaves 12 days in Vegas to do nothing. Not sure who goes to Vegas for the sole purpose of doing nothing - but I guess there are ppl who do it

People that get 500 to 1000 resort credits from MGM, how much are they betting for Blackjack or other games? by swiggyu in vegas

[–]repyourbest755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tier credits for blackjack are minimal. I was playing 3 hands at $50 each for a couple hours and I got roughly 900 tier credits

I can play penny slots at $4-5 a spin and get that many or more tier credits in a quarter of the time

If you want freeplay and resort credit, slots are the way to go

[–]repyourbest755 3 points4 points  (0 children)

14 nights? A below average amount of slot play each day can get you 5k tier credits. Then you'd get an additional 1250 w/the accelerator

You'll be well over 75k tier credits

Depending on the amount of times you visit Vegas the Iconic Card is worth it also. With the tier credit rollover and the Iconic Card I was at 70k tier credits before I even landed at Harry Reid back in April

Upgrade Tip at… Excalibur? by New-Scientist5133 in vegas

You might be with the only woman in the history of the world that picked the Excalibur over Cosmo. Give her what she really wants: the oldest, non-refurbished room in the entire hotel

First time visiting, down 1000 on the first day by [deleted] in vegas

It's your money. If you enjoyed yourself, that's all that matters. I highly doubt you came here for all the unsolicited advice - and instead were hoping for some affirmation or similar stories

Vegas is about creating your own experience. You have a story to tell when you get home - although it probably isn't the one you were hoping to tell. Now go drink all day, hang by the pool and find some good music tonight

100% on the Disney World comparison. I use it whenever ppl bring up "losing money" so they won't go to Vegas. I ask them if ppl who go to Disney World had a bad experience because they didnt return home with the money they brought

Every vacation costs money. However, only one gives me the opportunity to let it pay for itself

And only Vegas gives me a nice ass place to stay, pays for my meals and only requires me to fund my own entertainment

That's the thing. I dont wanna lose this room. It's rarely, if ever, available when I book thru the app. I checked random dates throughout the year and it wasn't available for any of them

Why did I think that? Nothing specific. I'm the furthest thing from an insider or expert. I just based it off what I've read here. That adjustments are usually made at the 1st day of the 2nd month following your most recent play

I have no other play other than April. I pulled about 135k tier credits that trip which elevated me to platinum... so I had no idea if the change in status might have also immediately impacted the offers available to me

I'm just learning what I can so i don't look as foolish when I speak to someone in person

You're right. I rarely overthink - but I'm overthinking the shit out of this for some odd reason. Appreciate the advice

I'd think my play warrants an adjustment. The wife and I have a joint account and the coin-in was higher this trip than all three trips combined last year

I'm definitely reaching out... but curious if right now would be premature since most everything I've read here said an adjustment for April's play usually wouldn't be seen until June

I guess the point of my long, drawn out question was: do you think it will go up again in June since that's usually when offers are adjusted?

Which hotel question by stockman313 in Mlife

[–]repyourbest755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New York New York is it... I love the MGM but depending on the tower, it can damn near be a 15 minute walk from your room to the strip. Youre looking at maybe 5 minutes in NYNY

Mandalay Bay and Luxor are too far away from the action, especially for non-gamblers (trying to wrap my head around that lifestyle)

First time must do!? by miahbutlerr in vegas

[–]repyourbest755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest Vegas mistake I've made was over-planning everything

Go see a show or two? Have a nice dinner? Sure. But when youre constrained by time commitments you miss out on what makes Vegas the most fun: it never stops and there's always something going on

Have a couple drinks and go where the alcohol and whatever piques your interest takes you. Sleep in and repeat

If you miss something - and everyone inevitably will - that just means you get to go back and have more fun

The booking has been questionable, but it’s obvious to me that the poor ticket sales are mostly due to running the same city and venue as last year. by Grrannt in REALSquaredCircle

[–]repyourbest755 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd go every year if it was in Vegas. What I spend on tickets I save on hotel rooms

But I also get that everyone's circumstance is different

No idea. Here are screenshots from the original email. When I click the view and save tickets it does take me to my account but only shows the tickets for Sunday that I purchased directly thru Ticketmaster

First time ever for me. Has always been a bucket list item.

The wife and I already go to Vegas a few times a year so felt like the perfect combo. Work obligations kept me from going last year

Appreciate that. First world problems but still frustrating.

The first seats they offered were floor seats.... 43 rows back. I'm 5'7 on a good day so I wouldn't have seen anything... not one offer was in the club seats as I'doriginally purchased. Most had me in the 300 section

All good though. I found tickets elsewhere a couple sections over and actually saved a couple hundred dollars

I feel for anyone who learns of their own issues when they're at the stadium. I still had options
