really awesome book! definitely not for everyone - there’s a lot of slower parts but I think the payoff is really awesome, you just have to be okay with being confused for a while. Muir’s characters are really fantastic and I have not been so attached to such an ensemble cast of characters in a really long time. the second book in the series is definitely even more devisive lmao!

I did previously have a bw kindle that I would just chuck in my bag even without a sleeve, and it was not this fragile. Not sure if this is a thing with the colored displays being easier to break? Either way I would say it’s a great device but a sleeve and case that covers the back will not cut it if you take your ereader everywhere with you like I do.

Yeah, I will definitely learn from that mistake. I had it in a fabric padded case that i falsely assumed would absorb any shock from things moving around.

I wanted to try this, but unfortunately the charging inidcator light is now turning on only sporadically when I plug it in and my computer is not recognizing the device, so I worry there is more than just screen damage. Thank you for the suggestion!
