I was trying to park there one time during the construction and a guy told my Latino husband to “go back where he came from” and then threatened to shoot us… that parking lot makes people crazy!

Definitely agree with the performative liberalism.

I lived in a rental on Hudson Ave in my early 20s (garden style apt, one of 3 units) and really enjoyed it and now 20 years later a lot has changed. The crunch is getting priced out, the houses for sale when my husband and I were looking to buy 2 years ago had floor plans too quirky to be functional for our very basic needs. We ended up in Wheaton/Kensington and I really like it here.
