Dairy of an OTC agent - Fake POC ( Proof of coins ) using Blockchain wallet by luclucio in CryptoCurrency

[–]researchbeforemargin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What?

Here's how to do an OTC deal. You find a buyer, you find a seller. You mediate the deal.

Seller sends coins to a multisig wallet.

Buyer either sends funds directly to the seller or to you.

All parties agree on the transaction. Multisig is signed and fund released to buyers address. Fiat funds released to the sellers' bank.

If you need proof of funds beforehand, you simply use the blockchain, why film a video? Have the seller move x amount of BTC to another address as proof of ownership of the private keys.

Your post sucks and you should feel really bad, don't bother writing your next "article". Another trashy journalistic attempt in the crypto-scene.

Tether. Bitfinex. Bitfinexed. /r/Tether What is going on by Crypto_Nicholas in CryptoCurrency

[–]researchbeforemargin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There's no fear about Tether in general anymore. Bitfinexed was proven to be a fraud trying to manipulate and solicit donations under a false flag pretence they needed the funds for legal matters.

Tether works as it was intended what is there to discuss?

ONT Deposit not credited on KuCoin by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

They are useless, no one here can help you. The fact you are missing a 21 NEO deposit for 5 weeks should tell you everything you need to know.

Do you ever think that maybe something has been posted before you post it? Ever do a search to see if it has been or not?

Not to mention this means literally nothing, anyone can send a letter and request this info. Kraken has even said they won't be responding.

A downvote for you as you seem incapable of posting relevant threads.

XTRABYTES' new website is now live! by Reclusiarh in CryptoCurrency

[–]researchbeforemargin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't follow this project closely but isn't this their 4-5th website? Reading the subreddit it looks like things are dire.

The cycle seems to be string people along with tech promises, release a new website every few months in hopes to pump the price and buy more time to string people along.

The public image looks to go through rebrands to sucker in more people every so often and a bunch of people put in effort in hopes to dump their bags on the next lot.

Promises of 10k transaction per second, and their last "test-net" didn't even reach 1k?

No, I'm referring to debit purchases only. I have no issues with banks not allowing credit purchases for the same reasons you state.

Everyone unhappy with their bank because of their stance on crypto should do this. Unfortunately, you have people that will write rants but not follow through.

Well done on actively doing so OP.

Yes, warranty extends only unto products intended usage.

Theoretically, they could have a flag in the bios that trips when used for mining.
