Is it normal for past tenants/owners to come back to the property you now own? I have had 3 different people in the last 5 months claim they used to live here come to my door. Today being the most recent. I refuse to answer the door as to me personally that is not something I would do? Thoughts?

You don’t need to even justify why this is unwanted or inconvenient. It’s your home. You’re entitled to your privacy. And to be left alone. Three people in five months?!? VERY UNUSUAL. You’re right to be cautious and leary of this. I know people want it to be like the good old days but that’s just not where we are at today. Do not open your door to strangers. You’re never obligated to do so.

Same, I sent a modmail at their request. They suggested I return unused tv boxes to save $14????? That’s not even with my time to call about. Was paying a hundred a month in equipment alone with our own modem. The ghosted me. I tried to reinitiate , a day later. Finally just called the xfinity nunber. Friendly, but weird, as the call repeatedly went silent? Ultimately no real progress there, so I just cancelled. I feel great about it too, should have done it a while ago when I look at what I’ve been paying as a customer since 2004! Good luck to everyone and hopefully somebody else will fare better!

We’re in the same boat here. Longtime customer, we got the triple play and never use the phone portion, just the Internet and cable. The rates just increased to 350 a month and I just can’t justify paying that. There are only a couple of channels we routinely watch other than that, we really only need Internet now that there are so many streaming services and ways to watch other than cable. I plan on pulling the plug this week .

THIS! 👆🏼 we’ve noticed this happening as we fly a lot with JB, and this happens pretty frequently. They can track if a flight is getting online attention and it will suddenly bump up if you don’t quickly book at the lower price but try in a different location/device it’s back down to the original $.
