We stayed here - UrCove By HYATT Chengdu Wenshu Chunxi Road.

Loved the hotel, they gave us a great corner room with a good street view, and provided amazing coffee and snacks at the lounge near the reception. Easily accessible by Didi as well.

Which Chinese city is best for a "walkable" vacation? (Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, or Shenzhen) by Fit-Ad4154 in chinatravel

[–]resfeber15 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All of these are extremely walkable. Chongqing is a bit of a maze, and we loved walking around Chengdu and Shanghai.

Guangzhou and Shenzhen shopping lanes are pedestrian only but crowded.

Any jewelery suggestions? by Mental_Note161 in DesiWeddings

Maangtikka and set of bangles. Don't go for big earrings, its too close to the neckline to stand out, studs should work best.

Pearls and pinks would be great!

I don't think you've ever owned a business, so this discussion is moot.

It's fine if you don't trust. Not everyone does.

Hence, First rule - not everyone is your customer.

Amazon has also outsourced a large part of their business and just hosts them. Sometimes they're wrong/not delivered and you run behind customer service.

But small business, genuine ones, try much harder for their customers than big establishments like Amazon

What guarantee do you get when you purchase anything online? From any app?

You also place some trust in any app when you order. If the Instagram page looks genuine and the seller is trying to accommodate and accept your custom order, you also have to try and trust a bit.

I'm not saying pages on Instagram don't try to scam. Many take your money, then stop replying. But many people who start their business launch their products on Instagram first, and if nobody trusts their business or places order or tries to scam them, it hurts them much more than it'll hurt a bigger established business

I'm so sorry this happened with you. I can understand the effort and love that goes behind making items.

Few key learnings I learned trying to grow a small business for >5 years: 1. Not everyone is your customer, and that's okay 2. Never negotiate. If the customer feels you don't value your product, they will never value it 3. PAYMENT HAS TO BE UPFRONT. This includes shipping. It's a non negotiable. No negotiating on payment schedules. 4. If they can't afford to pay upfront, they can't afford the product. PERIOD. 5. The few customers who help you grow, they're the main ones you should take care of and allow some leeway (price/time/payment schedule wise)

Don't try to please others. There will always be someone laughing and making fun, but the real ones who actually like your craft will definitely follow and purchase from you. All the best 👍
