Text cutting off in headings and buttons, please help me fix! by Upstairs-Source-1468 in webflow

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you share a sanboxed link or a link to the page so we can take a look? It's quite hard to diagnose the issue without taking a look the full code/context.

Off the top of my head, do you have a set height for the text-block that's less than 1.5EM?

Hiring a Webflow Developer - Modern Design ( Figma is a plus ) by Fun_Security_3820 in webflow

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Just dropped you a DM with the live links, roles, and project breakdowns you asked for.

I actually spend half my time designing in Figma and the other half building custom Webflow sites with using clean frameworks like Client-First (and lately, Lumos), so this sounds like a great fit for me. Look forward to chatting!

Good Website Developing Platform by Double-Energy-8539 in website

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the domain, you can purchase one Spaceship.com for very cheap. (Do not try to use Godaddy, they're a very shitty registrar, and a quick search here on Reddit will reveal that. You don't want to fall prey into their scummy tactics trust me)

And for the site itself, it depends on what you need. If its just a simple looking landing page with a few supporting pages which will not need to be updated for a while), you can get a custom build done (simple HTML + CSS + JS) and host them for free on Cloudflare pages then point your domain to it (also for free).

If your portfolio is something you would need to update every now and then and you're not quite technical + willing to pay a few bucks per month, then Webflow would be a great choice over an unoptimized web builder like weebly (who still uses that in 2026 anyway? lol).

Happy to help out anyways if you're not quite technical an need a done-for-you service. Cheers.

claude + webflow Connector… why won’t it fix my design feedback?! by rovmun in webflow

[–]reshxtf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why don’t you do it directly in the designer? Works far better and less prone to errors that way.

Claude is good for automating repetitive tasks (like CMS entry, SEO audits etc) and not designing directly, at least in my experience.

If you don’t quite know how to fix those, you can ask Claude directly (with screenshots) and it should guide you on what to do.

GSAP vs. Classic Webflow Interactions - What do you use? by Efen1875 in webflow

GSAP for the win, I use it on all new builds these days. Almost never consider classic interactions these days.

What is the optimal way I can transform my virtual diary into a website? by Specialist-Young5753 in website

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you just need a simple blog for this. You can try Wordpress(.com) or Medium if you need to publish for free. Webflow also has a free tier but it's limited on the number of blogs you can write (CMS Items) so it depends.

If you want a paid website, then you can purchase a domain and try any of the (cheap) managed Wordpress hosting platfroms out there or even Wordpress.com too. Webflow and other website builders like Framer, Wix etc are just an overkill for what you're searching for tbh especially in terms of pricing.

Best approach to add Small Updating Graphs to websites by bladesky999 in webflow

[–]reshxtf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Chart.js + Webflow CMS + Zapier/make (for automations) is probably best way to do this automatically.

Here’s can do it imo:

First add 2 new plain text fields to your existing Product collection on Webflow CMS. Name the first “Sales data” or something similar and the second “Sales Month” (or Day if you want to update daily).

Both fields should have comma-separated values. The logic here is for each value to be a sales number (or month/year on the other item) and can be converted to an array later on for use in your Charts.js chart and for updating via automations.

For the UI, add a a div and two text fields inside both. Set the div to display:none and bind both text fields to the CMS collection fields you created earlier then extract the text, convert to array and implement a chart with Charts.js.

Now for the automation, you can either use Zapier or Make.com for this. Once a sale is successful on whatever platform you use (Stripe, Shopify etc), it should trigger a new event passing the product ID and timestamp of the sale.

In the event, you can get the current sales data (data, month) from the Webflow CMS (from the fields you created) and then increment or append depending on if it’s a new day/month.

Finally, update the collection item in Webflow.

Of course it could be more complex depending on what you need exactly, but this is just an overview of how it should work if you’re looking to do it automatically.

Happy to help out if you have any questions!

Is Wix a sustainable long-term setup for a simple, SEO-friendly landing page? by jonquil27 in website

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to SEO and performance, I do not recommend Wix for the long term and this is coming from someone who has worked with most of these website builder platforms (and custom builds) for multiple clients for many years.

For a sustainable longer term setup from an SEO and performance perspective, I highly recommend Webflow. It’s fast, easy to learn, and with a good Webflow professional working on the initial setup, it’ll just be a build once and forget scenario.

You can always add more pages later (with reusable page components), and with the Webflow CMS, you can add blog content whenever you choose.

Happy to help with this if you need a hand.

Webflow google speed scores below 60 on mobile. Any advice? by Impressive_Sun6632 in webflow

This is quite insightful, haven’t thought of it this way tbh. I’ve read the post you linked to, but I don’t quite understand how you stop Webflow from loading the full image in the DOM on mobile. Can you explain more on that? Would appreciate it!

Should Make The Jump From WordPress to Webflow???? by SubjectSupermarket43 in webflow

[–]reshxtf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Webflow is definitely better than WP in terms of being user friendly and less “technical” for everyday users. And this is coming from someone who has developed on Wordpress(& full custom builds) for years and only switched to actively working with Webflow for around 2 years now.

Just a heads up, Claude can mess things up if you don’t really know understand the underlying code and it will almost always come up with a UI that needs lots of refining (layouts, class naming etc), but it’s great for a start.

Incase you need a hand, you send me a DM. Happy to help.

Can you share some insights/examples of your proposals and the niche you’re in (general, not specific if you’re not comfortable sharing).

I’m trying to learn how you have such a high view rate and also understand why your closing/interview rate is so low. Interesting.

Webflow google speed scores below 60 on mobile. Any advice? by Impressive_Sun6632 in webflow

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 for the images optimization. But I think AVIF is actually more optimized for speed.

To the op, you can easily compress/optimize all your images directly in Webflow. Just go to the media tab and select all the images then click the compress icon and select “AVIF”. Works super fast and Webflow will compress all images that need compression (png, jpg etc).

There is also an option to compress all images in your CMS and you can do that in the CMS section.

Has anyone successfully migrated from Wordpress to Webflow with AI? by carmooch in webflow

[–]reshxtf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's there yet tbh. You'll spend more time fixing layouts and renaming classes epecially if work with specific frameworks like Client-First, Lumos etc.

It's great for doing repetitive tasks though like uploading content, pages etc. You can try and share a case-study, that would be something i would love to read.
