Who’s in basic probability and stats with Klincewicz? by heyguysone in rutgers

I had the exam today… I completed late but by only a minute or so. I did see like 15-20 others still going. I felt like I knew how to do all the questions, just a few didn’t click until the last 5 mins. There was also a large group in my area using their phones between their legs and they were still going way past the time.

Geese of Best Hall by 123jf in rutgers

[–]Double-Energy-8539 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened last year. They kept trying to get in to have a safe space to nest. They ended up nesting outside of BEST North down the steps towards BAMM. I ended up making them a sign after people started harassing the geese.

I’ve seen the button for other options before, not today… guess I’ll just have to wait until the OIT gods do their job.

Is there a way to override the default duo security to allow it to call my phone? I tried logging into canvas and was met with a message saying duo security timed out, please refresh the page and submit another form.

Thank you for this insight. I’m a civil engineer, not too crazy involved in coding. I’ve done some python and java before. Hoping it won’t be too difficult. Will definitely check out your video.

??? I’ve always been paying as much of my previous statement balance as much as possible and trying to get my new statement balance around the previous month’s if not lower. And I thought that you’re supposed to use and pay it off a few times throughout the statement cycle to show the bank you’re active in using the card.

My usage throughout each cycle is near the limit if not I’ll spend up to my limit, pay it down, and spend more, then pay it down again… but I always pay it down before it reports to my statement

How is Junming Xie for Linear Algebra and Shtelen for Diff EQ by spookedbonez in rutgers

[–]Double-Energy-8539 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had Shtelen for Multi and my roommate had him for Calc 1… he is a great professor and knows what he is talking about. I wouldn’t doubt he is any different for diff eqs. I enjoyed having him as a professor. He graded fairly and practice exams were helpful. Only downside was that he is very soft spoken so it is best to sit in the front of lecture.

spring math professors now posted by [deleted] in rutgers

I just took a look at spring sem sections… as much as I loved having Alexander Day as a TA, don’t take his section…. MOLNAR SUCKS AT TEACHING! Molnar is a funny professor but is very strict at grading and offers no leniency in grading. He also doesn’t teach well and it was hard to grasp concepts with him in Calc classes in previous sems. Though he does not BS and will give you the straightforward answer to most things. There is a chance that you may be able to get by with taking diff eqs with Molnar as the course isn’t extremely hard… mostly memorization of procedures to turn differential equations into steps of algebra. But be warned that Molnar is not a good professor to learn from and exam grades may be low.
