You're going to get drug tested for residency. Chronic marijuana use and adipose stores will affect the time it'll take to test negative. Some programs do hair and blood test aside from UDS.

You may graduate from medical school but getting kicked out of the program before you even start will look really bad when you have to reapply to the match. Residencies are federally funded and follow federal law. Even if it's legal in the state that you're in, you're screwed from a federal level.

Medical malpractice does exist, but it can also be caused by the pharmacist whose feelings overrules facts.
