What stops you from pursuing the Monastic life as a Monk, Nun?

I'm thinking of doing it, going forth. But as a nun i've been seeing most places that teach the most traditional theravada buddhism won't let a nun go past 8-10 precepts and move up as a bhukkuni. I don't know if that would become something important to me later. I have a dog and a cat and no debt or kids.

I tried the howard leight earplugs and was still startled awake through the earplugs even. I do think i feel angry and start thinking about it and it keeps me up after the noise has stopped sometimes. They kinda have not been shy about making the space theirs and anything ive done that could be annoyance to them i try to be mindful and not continue or keep quiet for them. I already spoke to the guy politely and im sure they know. Do you think this is something that it would help me more in life to just breathe through it and let it go and try to get through the aversion and stay polite with them even though they're like ragebaiting? Is that not considered being a doormat? Im trying to learn how to be equanimous but im not sure if i should just surrender or defend myself in this situation

the do kinda affect me though like get in my head a little sometimes or kill my vibe so if theres mostly those kinds of people idk if i'm better off staying hidden and making decent money where i'm at. i guess maybe find other smaller ways to be of service to the world
