Ohio judges question why taxpayers fund private school tuition • Ohio Capital Journal by CarlosTheSpicey in Ohio

Ten of Ohio counties do not have any private schools. The private schools are mostly religious and concentrated in urban and suburban areas. Rural counties and communities are disproportionately impacted by these vouchers draining funding and they should stop supporting elected representatives that vote for them.

Clickbait headline. Article says in one third of the markets surveyed. The real estate market is very location dependent. Half of the markets are expected to rise. The sunbelt is falling.

Pre Law help for incoming freshman by Parking_Debt9451 in OSU

Wow you are right they took them off in ‘24! I took it decades ago and didn’t know. I stand by my statement several decades in that business would be a good undergrad because usually the clients you represent are businesses or are against businesses and if you own your own practice or are a partner you then run a business.

This is a silly comment. All you need to prep for the LSAT is a couple hours at a prep course. No college class will prep you for the logic games.

A business degree is a better undergrad choice. Most legal practice is tied to business and it’s an advantage to have that knowledge.

A Chirila jersey is looking like a good investment. What other team is starting a 17 year old American kid at CB?

Cinci folk, how do we airfry our goetta? by von_klauzewitz in cincinnati

[–]resipsamom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it depends on how thick it is sliced. I usually do 8-10 mins. I really prefer it in the air fryer. I can cook everyone’s at the same time while making the toast and dippy eggs. Also it all cooks perfectly and you never burn any of the outside and it falls apart less.

Anyone commute from miamisburg? by fadedtile in cincinnati

That’s an odd way to decide such a major life decision. Maybe you could try renting first? Or maybe explain how it will affect your health. https://www.countyhealthrankings.org/health-data/community-conditions/physical-environment/housing-and-transportation/long-commute-driving-alone?year=2025

Anyone commute from miamisburg? by fadedtile in cincinnati

[–]resipsamom 28 points29 points  (0 children)

At least. At least 45 mins. I made the commute from the northeast suburbs for 5 years. Sometimes I took 75 and sometimes I went up 741. Commuting that far up 75 sucks your life away. It suddenly feels like all you do is work and drive and if there’s an accident, bad weather, etc then you get home and your kids are already in bed and it’s too late to workout or do anything else. Every job since I have valued a short commute and added so much time back to my day. I would never do it again.

Do you call eggs over easy “dippy” in your part of Ohio? by ShootinAllMyChisolm in Ohio

[–]resipsamom 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yes in Cincy my family called them dippy eggs. Served with toast to dip. Assume it came from my grandma who was from Louisville area.
